Handhold DH heading to ICU covid

DH went to hospital yesterday for breathing issues. We’ve been unwell for a few days and we’re already awaiting covid tests.

Just been told he’s taken a turn and is heading to ICU. He is ECV and we’ve been so careful, we’ve not been out except to the supermarket, and we’ve avoided seeing anyone.

I’m just so worried and I know the next few days will be critical

Stoma nurses are coming in but not every day. It's been slow going but I think it's making up for lost time!
I have had to do a chart for all his medications... there are so many! But I think we will hang fire with the lactulose!!!!
I know we are bloody fortunate- if it wasn't for Covid i know we would be celebrating... just 9 more days in isolation to go... it's not like we have anywhere to go though does it?

My Husband didn't make it, but he fought with all he had. I've lost the love of my life, and my best friend.
Thank you for all of your prayers, and love sent on this thread. I did dip in and read, but it was hard knowing what to say. I clung for every glimmer of positivity, and daren't post, in case it tempted fate. The same for the end. Writing the words on here, it made it look so final when written down.
