Handhold DH heading to ICU covid

DH went to hospital yesterday for breathing issues. We’ve been unwell for a few days and we’re already awaiting covid tests.

Just been told he’s taken a turn and is heading to ICU. He is ECV and we’ve been so careful, we’ve not been out except to the supermarket, and we’ve avoided seeing anyone.

I’m just so worried and I know the next few days will be critical

Oh sweet Jesus, you poor things, all of you.

I'm so sorry to hear things are so hard. I know you knew from the start that his renal function was going to make this a hard battle but it's terrible to see your worst fears realised. I've known renal patients be very tough however. The numbers and stats tell us what can happen to patients like your husband but nothing can tell us what will happen to him. Will keep hoping and praying for you all.

Op I don't want to sound like a drug pusher but I've been in similar situations and diaazopam has been wonderful. I've never even had my full script, I think I was given 6 and then years later 7.

I had about 2 or 3.
helps to calm an relax you.

One time I Was so anxious etc I could BTW re set myself eg normally in times of stress, watch good TV, excersise etc.. But this was too much so had diaazopam and its helped me relax before sleep and have a good sleep...

I felt much better the next day to cope. Just a thought.
