What do you buy?

The rules are simple: it cannot benefit anyone but you. So if you wanted to go on holiday, that’s fine, but anyone else would have to pay their part completely. You cannot buy anything for anyone else including children and you cannot pay off debt.

So in this dreamland, what are you buying?

I was thinking a VCA necklace but even in this fake world, I can’t imagine spending so much on one thing!

New gaming pc, capture card, streamdeck, professional mic. Plenty of yarn and knitting supplies

Botox, fillers, facial and products. Then decent hair colour and cut.

Also adding driving lessons, a Canon DSLR camera, one to one lessons in photography, and a 5 star holiday on my own to the list.

I love big time retail therapy but the above purchases have given lasting pleasure whereas dropping £3 grand on handbags and clothes, which I have done at low points, gave just fleeting pleasure.

(These are all specific items I actually have on various wish lists...I typed it all out then realised it should be one thing )

So it would have to be a sapphire and diamond vintage ring I think. Or pearls.

You can get a sauna for 3k, comes from Birmingham not Sweden but perfectly effective. Zoki. 😁

Botox, eyebrows done, nails done, hair done, massage/spa day, new outfit & shoes and a few new books & candles. All things I would never spend money on for myself normally.

Invisalign braces - hate my teeth

A couple of nights in a posh local hotel, full board.
Some high end waterproof warm boots.
A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or Clumber Spaniel puppy.
If there was any money left (doubtful) I'd probably get some botox.

Laser eye surgery for sure!

Top of the list would be a new mattress. I sleep alone so only benefits me. I might go the whole hog and buy a new super king size bed and bedlinen too.

And then I’d book an all day massage session to get rubbed from top to bottom.

Lipo without a doubt

A couple of city breaks, teeth whitening and a painting I have my eye on. Anything left over I would spend on a gorgeous winter coat and a travel bag.

I’d get a personal trainer, and then one I was feeling fit blow the rest on a holiday to Canada. I’ve always wanted to see the Rockie mountains

Fillers

Either a vintage diamond ring in platinum, 1960s multi stone cocktail ring

or

Converting my garage into a sitting room with lovely bi-fold doors which would look out into a courtyard garden (instead of the concrete yard where the dogs poop.

I think the ring would win out!

An overlocker and a ton of beautiful fabric. I'd soon get it spent!

Cream cakes and gin

Peloton tread and a shed to keep/use it in.

I would go to the ice igloos in Finland.
No idea how much it costs though! I reckon about 2K all in for a few nights?
That leaves me with a grand which I would spend on a city break to Dubrovnik.

I would get my teeth done without hesitation.

i had to sell all my music equipment a year ago to pay off some debt. id buy myself a top end bass guitar and a bunch of basic music production gear so i can persue my music making dream again!

Botox and dental work.

I'd get my teeth whitened, but not stupidly white.
I'd probably get a personal trainer to just get me into gear and see a bit of a weight loss in order for me to carry on doing it by myself!
