I was around for the She Who Must Not Be Named debacle and that really was jaw-droppingly spectacular. I've never encountered anything quite so car-crash-esque anywhere since.

Moulies was before that Harriet. The NYE debacle must have been a couple of years later. I joined just before Mouldies because I didn't really understand what had happened.

Moldies was before my time, as was the SWMNBN debacle, so it's since then.

I think I remember MNers getting a telling off next day from MNHQ for being very naughty on NYE, but I might be imagining that.

It was a game of AIBU Bingo that got a little out of hand, people were trying to cram as many clichés into a thread as possible. There were a lot of threads created in a fairly short space of time.

I believe it was sparked because there'd been the usual influx of school holiday trolls, and people had got a little tired of the goady threads so decided to take the piss.

It was my first year on MN and I hadn't been on it for NYE but came onto the carnage the next day. I still don't really get what happened! It was all a bit nuts.
