Kids have gone playing out at the park, I'm watching Moana drinking Bailey's with dh.
Everything is done/prepped for tomorrow, all is good. Smile

Holothane · 24/12/2020 14:02

I’m just fed up of pain so a 5 just not feeling Christmas now.

MummaBear4321 · 24/12/2020 14:03

I am at about a 7.5. My 2 year old is on day 5 of potty training, I have a 6 week old who doesnt want to be put down, my house smells of wee and looks like a bomb went off, and I may or may not be hosting my inlaws tomorrow dependent on whether I get my coronavirus test back in time (I have a cold and a slight cough).

I need a drink.

EmmanuelleMakro · 24/12/2020 14:03

6 down from 9 this morning after long bike ride.

JamieFrasersSassenach · 24/12/2020 14:04

Before 1pm today I was 0, now Inam at least 11.5 - have just started a thread on why.
I'm sure it will reduce with alcohol later on! GinWine

Seeline · 24/12/2020 14:06

Apart from the fact I still have loads of presents to wrap, I am feeling far less grumpy than normal for this time on Christmas Eve. For the first time in nearly 20 years I am not hosting Christmas. For the first time ever it will be just my little family of four and selfishly I am really looking forward to it.

BookShark · 24/12/2020 14:10

10 and

lifestooshort123 · 24/12/2020 14:12
  1. Sorry!
rollinggreenhills · 24/12/2020 14:12

Probably about 1or 2 in the stress stakes, but a bit miserable as I have just been told that an elderly distant relative has passed away.

EckhartLolly · 24/12/2020 14:12

I was around 8.5 but the kids have made themselves scarce so it's coming down. I don't usually drink very often but I'm really craving an Irish coffee right now Grin

BookShark · 24/12/2020 14:13

Oops. 10 and more. Positive test result means I now have to isolate from the rest of my family over Christmas. And that's after getting DD over the disappointment of abandoning our original plans (tier 4) - now we won't even get Christmas for the three of us. Oh, and I saw the in-laws outdoors to hand over presents in the period before I got symptoms, so I've cancelled Christmas for them as well. Feeling mightily hacked off and have spent the morning in tears.

OhToBeASeahorse · 24/12/2020 14:15
  1. DS is 2 and DD is 10 weeks. No obligation to see anybody and try to work out visits and naps etc etc so we have a little roast chicken for tomorrow. All presents wrapped, all cards sent, one for the Christingle service and Baileys.

So it us all lovely and calm but... It just doesnt quite feel like Christmas...

ChristmasinJune · 24/12/2020 14:16

0..... ds at his dad's house, my sister is cooking lunch tomorrow, the presents are wrapped. I'm planning a nap followed by a call the midwife marathon accompanied by wine and chocolate.

Oh gosh I'm so sorry! That's rubbish. Maybe you can have a postponed one in a few weeks?
PurpleMustang · 24/12/2020 14:19

A good solid 100 oh sorry only to 10. Partner is leaving after Christmas, so the kids can have a nice time before he moves out. But keeps fucking off to sort stuff at new place when I said I need help here. Yep, beforehand when he suggested staying I asked him if he was staying longer to sort stuff or for the kids. Seems my gut was right. He's done sod all present buying aswell.

MummaBear4321 · 24/12/2020 14:19

Oh god you have all just reminded me I havent even wrapped DHs present. I havent even opened the amazon box it came in. Its thrown into the nursery. I hope it's actually ok 😩 I know I should be feeling the christmas spirit with 2 little kids but I am just wound up.

MummaBear4321 · 24/12/2020 14:21

@BookShark I am so sorry. I am awaiting my result too. Feeling nervous about potentially ruining the inlaws christmas

letsmakethetea · 24/12/2020 14:23
  1. Just the three of us. No plans. We have food and wine. It's actually very relaxing, but doesn't feel like Christmas, more like a holiday but in our own home.
Crownofthorns · 24/12/2020 14:23

Probably a 12, feel like a miserable Grinch today 😢 I’ve made every effort for DH and DD with gifts, food etc but am not feeling Christmassy at all. My mum has health problems and lives abroad so I’m wondering when I’m going to see her again, ditto other family members including my dad and brother who I haven’t seen for well over a year. I am also crippled by anxiety about possible school closures in January as DD has some delays and needs to be at school.

Hoping to snap out of it by tomorrow!

MPolsted · 24/12/2020 14:24
  1. Feeling wonderfully Christmassy, alcohol open, buffet food started, snuggled at home with the kids who are old enough to ply me with food and drink!

  1. DH only finished for Christmas yesterday and yet has spent three hours so far today on his laptop. 🙄
