I had a dream last night that we had a massive garden party (it was summer), and invited all our local friends and acquaintances. The police were called, and I was panicking about the size of the fine we'd get and hoping all our friends would chip in. I woke up slightly anxious 😂.

Over Xmas, I couldn't do this, it would be too risky when seeing elderly parents as well during the Xmas relaxation of rules. However, if a small group of us weren't seeing elderlies over Xmas, and were all local (where there are fewer than 3 cases according to govt site), I could see the temptation.

No way.
But back in the day pre kids when I was young and carefree (daft), yes probably. But only if small party. Xmas Blush

What about young single people who live alone and work from home getting together with other people in similar circumstances? They are not going to be given the vaccine presumably because their risk is so low. Do we leave them shut in their tiny flats with their mental health crashing?

tilder · 13/12/2020 21:46

Why is it always the ignorant twats that bleat on about not being a sheep? It's like a marker for Facebook researchers.

I hope the London soiree goer doesn't need a hospital bed. They are apparently increasingly scarce.

No. I won't be going to any parties.

If single they can have a support bubble. It doesn’t need to be a house party.
fussychica · 13/12/2020 21:57

Good God no. I'm worried enough about seeing just my son let alone a group of people.

RaininSummer · 13/12/2020 21:57

No definitely not but no rules or common sense seem to be evident in the house behind mine as there was a rowdy party last night.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 13/12/2020 21:58

@JassyRadlett

Fuck no.

It’s the selfish cunts doing this that’s going to mean I can’t even take my kids out for a hot chocolate and mince pie by the end of the week, and many people already in Tier 3 haven’t been able to for absolutely ages. And will probably mean those kid start the new year out of school again.

But yeah, parties, sheep, ‘normal’. What fucking twats.

Yes this, it's the selfish stupid fuckers who've put my area in Tier 3.
