Do you wear thermals?

New house v old = draughty and on the cooler side etc. I have to sit a lot during day working at home and get rather chilly. Are thermals worth a shot? Any other late 30 something wearing these in the house at this time of year?

Yes, through most of the winter. Layering for walking, post swim, sitting around. I prefer light thermal under clothes to heavy jumpers or coats over them.

And thanks to @Happynow001 who recommended the thermal socks. Mine arrived this morning and my feet have never been so cosy. I ordered some as extra presents for friends WFH.

No, I honestly thought it was only old people that wore these. I'm shocked

Base Layers sounds some much better than thermals, which conjures up old style ribbed grandad long johns. But they both do the same thing... l can leave the house in weather that would skin a brass monkey.

you can get lovely fur lined tights / leggings from primark, they are only furry on the inside and keep me so warm!!! They are very thick and very soft on the inside. you will not go back once you try them.
