Still in bed with a Brew
Going to cook a roast later and although I've put the trees up I need to decorate a bit and finish making the house look Christmassy
Need to do some online shopping and it's not actually pissing down so a walk will be in order later
And no work tomorrow a bonus Monday off work to fetch DS from uni
The world remains crazy and here I can't even pop to the pub for a Wine Sad

Taking DS to chill factor so he can snowboard with a friend. Our first post lockdown 2 outing, so it’s very exciting!

Mintjulia · 06/12/2020 09:49

Persuading DS to do his homework,
making a lemon drizzle cake,
doing the ironing,
karate class,
Researching for a job interview

Living the dream ! GrinGrin

Going for a chilly walk with a friend, we started a weekly walk in the first lockdown and have continued. It's really nice child-free time. Plus I've had chronic health issues over the last few years and at one point would never have believed I could walk for an hour so every time I do, it's a precious thing.
Then got to clear out the crap from the lounge to make room for the tree. And going to dry orange slices and make a wreath.

Changi · 06/12/2020 09:50

I've just got back from the gym. It took me longer than usual because I got stuck behind a huge group of Tour de France wannabes on a hilly single track road. The fog didn't help either.

PerdidathePostwoman · 06/12/2020 09:53

Chores
Homework
A freezing cold walk

But for now I’m in bed with a book Smile

DelphineWalsh · 06/12/2020 09:55

Clean the bathroom
A walk if its not raining
DH has promised me pancakes

Hobnobswantshernameback · 06/12/2020 09:56

Right second Brew in bed
Then I'll shift
Miraculously the sun seems to be shining

I'm still in bed with baby DD, gazing at her beauty! We'll get up soon and I'll make porridge while DH goes for a run. Later we'll all go out for a walk in the park, then potter/watch Mandalorian/read for the rest of the day.

WeatherwaxOn · 06/12/2020 10:01

Baking cakes - DC is standing outside a bit later selling them for charity.
And yes, I will be wearing a mask all the time whilst I do it.
Dinner might be sandwiches tonight.Grin

lljkk · 06/12/2020 10:01

Teen DS said we could go for a walk later.
I've been tired last few days so happy to have a lazy slow day. Sundays are the best.

MaverickDanger · 06/12/2020 10:02

In bed right now. Might go out for a walk and a roast, but equally we do have food in the house.

Hoping a walk might encourage this baby to arrive!

Rockbird · 06/12/2020 10:03

Still in bed although I have been up earlier. Just about to get in the shower so I can go out and collect various orders from various shops. Then put up more Christmas lights and do some washing. Very exciting stuff.

badlydrawnbear · 06/12/2020 10:03

Making mince pies and Christmas cards with DC, persuading DC to write cards to their friends because I don't know when else we will have time for that, tidying up, putting up Christmas tree later, eating take-away pizza as has become tradition on the day we put up the tree, getting DC1 to finish her homework (bizarrely, her homework is to learn all the words to a Beatles song and she thought listening to it twice would work), wondering what to get DC/ DH/ just about everyone else for Christmas.

IPeedInThePool · 06/12/2020 10:05

Am on the 3rd Brew made a bean chilli for tea (mixed bean chilli with homemade gaucomole, pita bread and salad)

Going to make paper snowflakes then glitter them 😐 and do letters to Santa.

Have to go the shops for glitter and an avocado

confusedofengland · 06/12/2020 10:07

Started off the day with a cup of tea in bed, reading The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. Now having breakfast downstairs. Heading off for a walk shortly & DH wants to take a flask & cakes from home (I'd prefer the cafe but I guess it makes sense). Then Quorn toad in the hole for lunch. After lunch, DH & DS1 will watch football, so I'll let the little ones on tablets & I'll read or do some housework. Then Christmas decorations this evening.

Titsywoo · 06/12/2020 10:08

Still in bed here. Dh left at 8 to do some contract work for our business. I'm planning to have a tidy, hoover out the car and pack orders for our business. Also need to pop to the shops to get some bits to make a roast this evening. Dd is revising for gcse mocks that start on Tuesday. Ds doing very little probably!

Pickypolly · 06/12/2020 10:08

Aww pp going to chill factor, lucky thing, fab place!

I’ve started a new job last week Smile it’s fabulous!
So weekends are again full of laundry, cleaning, food shopping, meal planning, preparing for the week ahead.
Going to get final stuff for Christmas in a bit, Sunday roast later, bath then bed early.
I’ve been up since 3am with a million ideas for my new job flying around my head Grin bloody love it!!

BikeRunSki · 06/12/2020 10:09

Just got back from an outdoor swim, chilliest yet at 5o. We saw a wild barn owl on the way back which made the whole crazy exercise worthwhile!
I’ll be making a fish pie for lunch, maybe use up some of the many eggs and overripe bananas we have in S banana cake.
Will try and persuade the dc to go for a walk later.

troppibambini · 06/12/2020 10:10

I've just got up which is very unusual for me. Dh has taken second and fourth children to rugby. First. Hold is eating toast and drinking coffee. Third child is watch Jurassic park.
I will make bacon butties when the rugby crew get back then dh is taking the kids to see his dad while I do the ironing and yet school stuff ready for tomorrow.
He is also taking 3 of them boxing for a bit this afternoon (third child has broken elbow so can't go)
I'm a sahm so dh is pretty good at giving me a bit of child free time at the weekend. Next weekend we have some more stuff planned we can do as a family. I'm feeling a bit delicate after a bit too much wine last night so a bit of peace is very much appreciated today!

Pickypolly · 06/12/2020 10:10

AND weighed myself, lost 4lbs off my sluggish, previously depressed flabby body in my first week of being busy and in a healthy routine at long last.

AutumnOrange · 06/12/2020 10:11

I am waiting for an engineer to turn up as my boiler has decided today is the day to stop working. Going to make myself a baileys coffee to warm up 😂

justleavemebe · 06/12/2020 10:12

The little ones are going to they're grandparents today so I'm going to get through the mountain of washing, have a good clean through the house, put the rest of the decs up, sort through the presents and write down what else I need to buy. Have a long bath and watch some Xmas films while eating lots of rubbish Grin

ladyvimes · 06/12/2020 10:12

Cleaning and lesson planning.

And putting up the decs! Yay!

SimonJT · 06/12/2020 10:12

I went to the gym first thing and it was empty, bliss.

Son and partner are playing with some lego, dog and cat are both sunbathing near the balcony.

Later we are going to Blenheim palace to look at the light trail, on the way back we’re going to a pub for dinner. An actual real pub!!!

dementedma · 06/12/2020 10:14

Still in bed. No plans other than visiting dad in care home and maybe going for a walk if I can be arsed. Which is unlikely
