Can tv get any lower? Just find this show so vulgar. Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for pushing the boundaries..:but this? I can't think of anything less attractive..
Who are these people that sign up to come on the show??? Totally baffled.

I saw an episode of EB where a lady was confiding to the tv doctor that she was worried about the appearance of her labia and whether it was normal. So worried in fact that she hadn't had a sexual relationship for nearly 10 years. Then, got the aforementioned anatomy out for a close up ON NATIONAL TV.

Embarrassing Bodies

My favourite ever EB was one where a bloke was having concerns about recurring discomfort inside his bum crack. Dr Christian examined his crinkly derriere to diagnose and gave him the brilliantly diplomatic 'prescription' that he should 'revisit his wiping technique' Grin

No idea why anyone would want to get their bum crack out on TV. There was an episode of embarrassing bodies where a lady said she had awful piles, Dr Pixie had a look and said she had anal warts not piles. Imagine her embarrassment when that aired on TV.

The embarrassment factor for that (if people you knew saw it) would be off the scale!

You'd just never shake it off, would you? I imagine him as a 95yo and his innocent little 5yo great-grand-niece asks, "Mummy, are we going to visit Great Uncle Crapflaps in his care home today? Why does everybody call him 'Great Uncle Crapflaps' when he's not here, but 'Geoffrey' to his face?"

How come during Naked Attraction, when the men do that spinny thing before they get dressed, centrifugal force doesn't cause their parts to swing out like a yardarm?
It's not only decorum being suspended, but the laws of physics too.

rwalker · 20/11/2020 11:59

I can't understand why people get so worked up about it just don't watch it . It's crystal clear what it is so switch it off.
People have different opinions on being naked some just simply don't care .

AgathaTabathaBagatha · 20/11/2020 12:08

I turn off. I can't think of anything worse than seeing a bunch of narcissistic idiots' naked bits. YUK.

sammylady37 · 20/11/2020 12:14

@thinonice
There other ways to educate yourself on body parts. I'm sure you came across porn or you can go to a nude beach. This show by no mean boosts the confidence of the nation

You think porn is educational in terms of body parts? Really?? Porn is hardly known for its diversity in terms of the women anyway. That’s before we even get to the ethics of porn, where the women are often trafficked, exploited and not consenting. Yet you think that’s a better way of getting an education re body parts than this show, in which adults willingly participate?

And people on a nude beach are not there to provide educational material for the curious, or to be oogled. They’re there to enjoy a day at the beach. In any event, it would be rather difficult to get as close a view of as many people on a beach as you get on NA.

Grin Grin Grin

I presume they actually get them to turn very slowly and then speed up the footage, before splicing it with the bit where they're clothed. It would be hilarious if they did have to spin that fast, though - especially if they got dizzy and ended up involuntarily staggering off and flinging themselves off into the walls of the set!

It is strange, though, that not one of the male contestants ever seems to be, um, excited to be seeing all of those lovely nudey bodies. I presume they must cut those bits out (the bits of film, not the bits of their bodies, that is) and then re-shoot after giving them a short lecture in the laws of quantum thermodynamic principle (or reading them an extract from Jedward's autobiography).

Housewife2010 · 20/11/2020 12:18

My favourite part is when they spin round to get dressed. It's like a pervy Mr Benn!

Bluntness100 · 20/11/2020 12:19

I clicked on this the other night, and actually clicked it off again after watching for a couple of mins, the women were naked from the waist down and they were discussing their fannies. Honest to god it was so cringe I had to switch it over. And I’m not generally prudish but I’d no desire to see it or the dudes cock and balls.

I have no idea why folks go on it. I can’t even think what would possess you to do it.

GaryTheDemon · 20/11/2020 12:20

Pervy Mr Ben Grin

Soubriquet · 20/11/2020 12:36

I actually quite like watching it tbh

It’s interesting seeing all the different shapes and sizes of bodies and their anatomy.

NanooCov · 21/11/2020 09:38

It gives me the rage. Absolute trash TV. Sets itself out as being about building connections and relationships but it's just voyeurism.

nosswith · 21/11/2020 13:05

On Gogglebox again last night. I better check when the series of Naked Attraction ends so I can avoid Gogglebox for the time being.

AgeLikeWine · 21/11/2020 13:16

I watched the show a couple of weeks ago, when the young chap doing the choosing was allegedly a virgin. He seemed more than a little flustered by the whole thing, perhaps understandably.

When the women’s boobs were revealed, he commented that one ‘looked like the girl next door’. The presenter replied, ‘mate, the girl next door probably doesn’t have the words ‘Devil’s playmate’ tattooed under her tits.’ I almost fell off the sofa 😂 at that line!
