Can tv get any lower? Just find this show so vulgar. Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for pushing the boundaries..:but this? I can't think of anything less attractive..
Who are these people that sign up to come on the show??? Totally baffled.

I managed to catch a bit while channel hopping a couple of years back and was wtf there's a row of cocks.

My main thought on this program is. Why?

But I'm getting on s bit.

Watched a bit of sex tips from lesbians for straight couples the other day. As the concept seemed a bit odd. Was interested to see what the messages were.

Weird as all fuck was the answer. I mean I don't get out much but the pandering to male sexuality/ gaze etc was... Interesting.

I'm a crazed feminist though so TBF the women I know are unlikely to be in the subset of lesbians that wear tons of makeup and recommend sexy lingerie, saucy dancing and some porn to spice things up :/

NiceGerbil · 20/11/2020 00:58

Comtesse there's a line between body confidence and exhibitionism I think!

This show would be the latter.

Staffy1 · 20/11/2020 01:06

It couldn't get any lower, could it? I dread to think how it could. Can't believe how the présenter just acts as if it's a normal, every day sort of thing, I would be so embarrassed to have that as a job.

Torvean32 · 20/11/2020 01:12

Vile, imagine if that's a colleague you share a desk with. Or a local delivery driver who you can't quite remember why you know them, then it hits you. You don't even get a decent prize to make it in any way worthwhile.

OzziePopPop · 20/11/2020 01:25

@40somethingJBJ

I caught an episode of this a month or so back, and was shocked to see someone I know on there! She’s a middle aged, sensible, intelligent mother of teenagers and probably the very last person I expected to see in all her glory on tv!
Oh dear god, I cannot imagine how embarrassed her kids must have been! Can you imagine the comments at school?? Even if she’s stunning with an amazing body etc. I couldn’t. (And probably shouldn’t!)
OldAndWornOut · 20/11/2020 01:31

It's akin to watching Keith chegwin in that naked jungle game show.

hoolahoopss · 20/11/2020 01:37

@Spanielmadness what's wrong with vagina over Vulva? I haven't heard anyone use the word vulva before have i been misusing terms ? X

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 20/11/2020 02:01

They have a fair few people who come from abroad - maybe they're figuring that all of their family and childhood friends are still back at home and will never see something on British TV. It only takes one person to record and upload it online, at any time in the future, though....

They had somebody in one of the boxes who had a vagina, but identified as a man, it was explained. I think that might have been the episode with the odd chap choosing who said he was 'pansexual', which is a term I've never quite understood. You really would have sex with everything?! Assuming they stick to humans only, how is that possibly different from 'bisexual'?

There was also the one where they had a couple choosing, as they'd decided to 'introduce' another woman into their relationship. She was definitely in the driving seat as he came across as very quiet and subdued. I would have thought that the pool of people willing to go on the show and appear to millions in the nip must be extremely low to start with - they did well to find six of them who were also after becoming part of a threesome Confused

Pipandmum · 20/11/2020 02:25

I just can't believe this is an actual show. Have no interest in watching it (watched about 15 minutes once out of curiosity but realised I had better things to do).

StarlightLady · 20/11/2020 02:46

Real bodies, with bumps and scars as opposed to the normal media hyped, airbrushed view of naked perfection. People comfortable with their naked self. That can’t be all bad. Interestingly, l always like to see how they appear dressed.

The presenter, is Anna Richardson, Sue Perkins’ partner who delivers in a down to earth way, again this demonstrates normality of the naked form.

And yes, I’m in my 40s and have no pubes, l remove my underarm hair, my leg hair so why is it abnormal to remove hair from my crotch? And no, l don’t do it for the benefit of anybody else.

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/11/2020 03:18

I caught half an episode last week waiting for the next program, and I was horrified.
Who on earth thinks this is is a good thing to take part in?Shock

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/11/2020 03:22

Its nothing to do with hair removal or not for me it's sharing it with the nation!

StarlightLady · 20/11/2020 03:26

Hmmmm! Real people with real bodies complete with wobbly bits and a show presented by someone who is lesbian. How awful! Women will want the vote and expect to enjoy sex next Grin.

yeraindug · 20/11/2020 03:49

It does make me think that society is probably doomed. I also like to imagine my late granny's reaction to it- she would get all flustered by anyone kissing on telly.

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/11/2020 04:37

StarlightLady
What has women getting the vote got to do with a program featuring both sexes equally from what I could tell?Confused

tobee · 20/11/2020 04:40

It isn't a programme that I seek out but if it's on it's fascinating to see normal naked bodies, because there'll all so different. But it's just about the most sexless thing, isn't it? Just looking at bits of bods. Like an anatomy class. Can't imagine you'd have a successful date with your choice either.

Moonmelodies · 20/11/2020 05:24

There was a clip on Gogglebox where one of the Naked Attraction contestants held her labia apart so the camera could zoom in on her clitoris.
How far we've come since Blind Date!

Lollypopsun · 20/11/2020 06:24

There was an episode I seen when channel hopping where there was an older lady on who played piano in her local church. Her comments about the men were so rude and pretty vulgar, I wonder how she faced going back into church after being that way on TV.
It's a very strange programme.

MysweetAudrina · 20/11/2020 06:32

Not something I'd watch but I love Gogglebox so have seen clips of it on that. It is just a body at the end of the day. We all have one so it shouldn't really be shocking to people. I wouldn't go on it myself but fair play to those that do.

Littlefluffyclouds13 · 20/11/2020 06:38

@hoolahoopss the vagina is internal, the vulva is the bit they are showing on tv.
It would be taking it to whole new level if they were flashing their vaginas!
Really winds me up that the female presenter says vagina!!

hopeishere · 20/11/2020 06:58

To be fair Mumsnet is the only place I know where people stress about vagina / vulva. Most people call it vagina.

sammylady37 · 20/11/2020 07:12

LMAO at those on here justifying how they’ve seen it. I was channel-hopping....I was waiting for the next programme... but yet managed to ‘catch’ half an episode (so clearly you were very early for the programme you wanted to watch) and despite being disgusted/horrified/shocked still stayed watching instead of mixing channels. And also the people who say it’s terrible and tell their anecdote about someone they know/‘the one where...’ etc - again, clearly, you watched it despite being horrified.

nosswith · 20/11/2020 07:37

@OldAndWornOut that is unfair to Keith Chegwin, RIP. He was on a show where there were no comments about the size of anyone's genitalia, nor was it a dating show.

If the Gogglebox extract was representative it is indeed truly awful.

Come on, it's fascinating first time as a cultural phenomenon. You got to see it to believe it, it's on a whole new level. It's just how long you last and how often you come back.

I watched about 1/2 episode once completely bewildered what the hell has gone wrong with people, realised the concept and how crap it is and moved on. Next time I just landed on it flicking through the channels and thought, wow this thing again, people are STILL doing it? I only lasted 2 min, it is truly revolting, I mean seriously, the guys were all spreading wiped cream on there genitals and hairy tummies 🤮🤮🤮
