Is there anything worth watching on Netflix?

I only have about 3 days left so nothing super long that can't be seen elsewhere. Every time I subscribe I remember why I didn't bother continuing.

I have tried most of the usual, anything interesting?

Really enjoying Money Heist at the moment- it’s in Spanish but well worth a watch.

TheBlessedCheesemaker · 16/11/2020 07:11

Sex education is great. Well, you can’t go enough with Gillian Anderson and hot Scandinavian plumbers, can you?

Skipsurvey · 16/11/2020 07:14

Fargo is great, very sadly season 4 is not going to netflix Sad

a film recommended on here Journey to Greenland was great.

OhioOhioOhio · 16/11/2020 07:18

The one, Frankie and Grace or something. I loved that.

Manteo · 16/11/2020 07:18

I'm quite anti monarchy but I absolutely love The Crown!

Postmanbear · 16/11/2020 07:19

If you like the boys on prime you will love the umbrella academy on Netflix, it’s great. Or the first series of Jessica jones is very good.

SkiingIsHeaven · 16/11/2020 07:21

@NaturesEnd

Queens gambit=so far so Mary sue sanitised bullshit so far Hmm
Rude.
Tadpolesandfroglets · 16/11/2020 07:30

To the Lake. It’s Russian (so subtitles) and about a virus, so if you can stomach those two it’s definitely worth a watch.
The OA.

It seems the OP is out to mock everything suggested.

Skipsurvey · 16/11/2020 07:36

i gave up with the Dark and Schitts Creek also,
it is all a matter of taste.

Skipsurvey · 16/11/2020 07:36

I also gave up with Ratchet

XiCi · 16/11/2020 07:38

Power, Ozark, Money Heist. Lots of really great older series on there as well like sons of anarchy.
For comedy and light entertainment I love schitts creek and grace and frankie

AntiHop · 16/11/2020 07:45

Unorthodox is a mini series and some of the best tv I've ever seen.

Tadpolesandfroglets · 16/11/2020 08:10

@namesnamesnamesnames I don’t think that’s actually fair or true.

Tadpolesandfroglets · 16/11/2020 08:10

Umbrella Academy? The Misfits?

PontiacBandit · 16/11/2020 08:15

Umbrella ☔ Academy. Love it

VinylDetective · 16/11/2020 08:17

The Crown is brilliant. I’ve heard nothing but good things about The Queen’s Gambit so that’s next on my list. Emily in Paris has had dreadful reviews but we loved it.

Someone mentioned This is Us on Amazon Prime, it’s one of the best things I’ve watched.

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 16/11/2020 08:47

If you enjoyed The Boys then Umbrella Academy may well hit the spot.

namechangefail2020 · 16/11/2020 08:48

@VinylDetective Emily in Paris def got better after the first few. Also it's easy watching isn't it, we didn't want one that we get obsessed with so it's a nice one to dip in and out of. Was hooked on Queens gambit and Ratchet but Ozark was by far the best. Old tho I guess

Violetparis · 16/11/2020 08:53

Unorthodox - story of young woman in strict Jewish community
The Woods - Polish series based on a Harlan Coben novel

Violetparis · 16/11/2020 08:57

Also the Jeffry Epstein and Trump documentaries are good.

AriesTheRam · 16/11/2020 09:09

The boys or the haunting of bly Manor

LuckyAmy1986 · 16/11/2020 09:25

I think if the OP finds Queens Gambit cringy then Emily in Paris might not be for her?!

The6thQueen · 16/11/2020 09:49

I’ve just watched the three series of Unforgotten - loved it
