Wedding first dance songs.

Currently planning our wedding and wondering what people had as their first dance song?

We don't want anything too cheesy but are open to anything else. We can't dance though so it needs to be slow so we can sway.

Any suggestions?

We had a barn dance for our reception and asked the band to play anything they fancied - they played Moon River. It was perfect.

Mika happy ending but ours was a bit different as I was told I was going to die within that year of cancer.... I didn’t obviously so ended up being a happy ending!

We had The Bangles, Eternal Flame, but wished I’d had Endless Love from Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross.

The day we got married end of August 1990 the day was very hot and everyone stayed out in the hotels lovely gardens. We got to do our first dance at about 9.30 pm to only a few people and the disco ended at 11 pm.

Our first dance was to "It started with a kiss" by Hot Chocolate. It was a kind of in-joke for us!

We didn't have one (a song or a first dance). It just felt absurd, I think most couples (bar teenagers) don't actually have "their song" and the whole thing just felt forced and unnecessary.
