I haven't seen one of these threads in a while.

So. I was going to make a casserole, it's a much loved JO recipe I have adapted over the last few years. I was planning on serving it with garlic mash. Ultimate comfort food.

However. It's been a long week, and I couldn't face the cooking tonight, so instead I'm chucking a couple of large meat feast frozen pizza's in the oven. I'll cover mine with both mayo and dried chillies. Possibly put some reggae hot sauce on the side to. Might add some lettuce for health reasons

Oh. And wine.

Good old spag bol and a glass of chardonnay 😍

Chicken thigh bake- chopped up what ever was in the fridge-( butternut squash, parsnips, peppers, onions, new potatoes and garlic) browned the chicken, seasoned and chucked in the oven. Yum!

Coop ultimate plant based burgers
Lidl ancient grain rolls
Oven chips
Gherkins, cheese, burger sauce

Basically a McDonald’s fake away. It was very nice indeed.

I made BBC Good Food's Easiest ever paella. A Spanish person would be horrified but it was delicious. And wine.

Savory turkeymince in gravy with carrots and onions on top of sweet potato mash.

Fish fingers for us. Food of the Gods!

At DS1's request, we had soup tonight... Butter Bean, Bacon & Rosemary with homemade bread rolls and some cheese. Obvs, I had wine because ♥Friday♥

Haddock, chips and mushy peas

I had a massive greasy poutine and a cheeseburger for lunch - so not much.

Kids are on bolognaise

Cauliflower cheese with bacon, red cabbage, sweet corn and mushrooms. Loads of mozzarella and cheddar on top.

That cake looks amazeballs

Chicken (M&S breaded fillets), chips, green salad and tomatoes.

Chicken and chorizo quesadillas 🤤

Home made pizza. With salad and a chilled glass of cherry Pepsi max. Just wish I had planned and made some coleslaw. Pizza is always better with coleslaw. Apologies to any Italians out there.

Breadsticks and smoked mackerel patè

Linda McCartney southern fried chicken strips - so good. In a bun, with chips and veg. And wine. It is Friday night after all

I'm shattered and walked 15km at work today - I'm just picking at random stuff from the cupboards and fridge!

Roast chicken dinner, dh at work on long shifts on the weekend.

Slow cooked Bbq pork belly slices and rosemary potatoes with steamed broccoli. It’s very lush

We've had Chinese followed by toasted marshmallows in a nod to bonfire night. Ans red wine. Lush.
