Nicole Kidman. What's she done ?

I'm watching the undoing on sky - what has Nicole Kidman done to her face ? I didn't recognise her .

I’m glad it’s not just me. I couldn’t take my eyes off her distorted face. She nothing like her actual self. What a terrible example to her daughters of never feeling quite good enough as you are.

Her fillers aren’t good, apparently bad ones need a few hours to settle in the am.

Lots of Botox and fillers.

As a total derail, how are people with Botox communicating at the moment? Foreheads are basically all we’ve got! 😷😂

I think she looks good, but yes, has been having work done for years.

It's the cheek thing I always notice first when someone's had a lot of surgery. Renee Zellwegger and Jennifer Aniston have the puffy cheeks and it changes the whole look of their faces.

Jennifer Anniston looks just as plastic these days. Her face and mouth are so full of filler she can’t emote.

But what’s the alternative ? At 53 you’d be expecting quite a lot of wrinkles, sagging, jowling. It seems like a choice between that and looking a bit puffy/ slightly odd.

I don’t think Jennifer Anniston looks unrecognisable. I think she looks great.

You can have subtle 'maintance' work done without getting that awful plastic look. Examples include Sharon Stone, Helen Mirren and Tom Cruise.

I would have included Jennifer Aniston in that group until I saw her at the Emmy's a few months ago. Sadly, she's gone full LA face too.

@JenniferSantoro I always thought the same, and then watching that programme and they did a massive close up and I thought, I get it. Pressure must be immense and if you love your career... that there are more (still paltry) roles for older women these days is great, but you still have to be a ‘beautiful’ older women for the large part.

Makes me very sad to see actresses filled with fillers, Botox, etc.

She appears to have had a chin implant fairly recently. They're very popular in Hollywood apparently, in the search for that perfect oval shaped face.

Such a shame. Botox and fillers I’m used to on screen pretty much but it distorts her features and looks even odder.

I think she is so beautiful in The Undoing but she looks mid 30s and like someone else said Hugh Grant looks so old next to her when really he is just looking his age. I think she is a great actress and love The Undoing.

I agree Winterwoo her face is just not portraying what her character would be feeling.

It’s spoiling a potentially good series because it is SO noticeable that she cannot react to the plot developments.

Annette Bening would have been brilliant in this part. Age appropriate, outstanding actress and she is amazingly beautiful but her face reflects her age.

I think the role is a little underwritten though, maybe because they knew all they would get from Kidman would be the clothes horse wafting around scenic New York in gorgeous jewel toned outfits.

Plastic surgery is a scourge for the acting profession, men and women alike.
Donald Sutherland adds a touch of class to every production, and I think Hugh Grant is surprisingly good.

Ooh, I have those rings. Had them since I was a kid and hate them because they're darker than the rest of me so really stand out.

Nicole lived down the road from me in her 20s. She was very different looking- much more filled out generally-homely not glamorous.. She was very nice- normal.

Seriously OP? You've only just noticed? She's been having 'work' for about 2 decades now.

It's a shame - she used to be so beautiful and probably still would be if she hadn't destroyed her face. She still looks great when the lighting is right, but close-up she looks scary. It's sad when women feel the need to destroy their beautiful faces like this.

I am sure it was her and Dawn French on Graham Norton a good few years back....there was general hysteria because Dawn and Nicole stood up together and Dawn was barely up to Nicole's waist, but she looked like a polished Barbie ...flat, but shiny, tight, expressionless.

It doesn’t help that she has such big hair in BLL and this, it just adds to the fakeness. I have to be honest I find her face very distracting when I’m watching. I agree it’s totally double standards though when you compare her to HG!

The pressure women are under to keep looking 25 is beyond ridiculous. I don’t blame people for trying to hold on to their looks.

It’s no different to young women though, they’ve got youth and are flawless in many ways but are under pressure to have the current ‘lip fillers’.

I’ve yet to see any lip filler procedure that looks better than the original. That trout pout look is vile

I find it sad especially as she's a great actress and needs to be able to move her face!

Love a bit of Hugh Grant. He was brilliant as Jeremy Thorpe a couple of years ago.

It’s not her real hair , it’s a wig. FaceliftS, lip fillers , Botox you name it. I think she looks horrendous, like a cadaver with the close ups
