Nicole Kidman. What's she done ?

I'm watching the undoing on sky - what has Nicole Kidman done to her face ? I didn't recognise her .

Well I haven't seen it so I just watched the trailer and I do think that Donald Sutherland is looking fabulous

It’s not her real hair , it’s a wig. FaceliftS, lip fillers , Botox you name it. I think she looks horrendous, like a cadaver with the close ups

I love The Undoing! It's so beautiful to look at apart from anything else, which feels like a tonic at the moment from real life. I'm worried the story will go a bit OTT and "made for TV drama" (I watch those too mind - I'm not proud) but the performances for Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman elevate it, so far.

I think by plastic surgery standards, she looks great. It's only because I've watched her from her early films that I notice it - like others say, it's when she's doing an emotional scene you can tell. But I'm just enjoying watching her waft around New York in Winter with her beautiful hair, coats and scarves (then back to real life with my joggers and mad hair cut I did myself during lockdown. 6 year old told me I look like a "crazy pencil").

Her hair looks AMAZING in that series. Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are both unrecognisable - it is really sad they are both such beautiful women I would have loved to see what they looked like naturally.

Her face when she was trying to look shocked in the police interview room really made me laugh, she only had the use of her eyes to convey shock they looked like they were literally popping out of her head. It does affect her acting I think:

We were saying her mouth looks like it’s been super imposed on her face.

I think she’s gone a bit too far with it if she toned it down a bit and allowed a few wrinkles on her face I think she’d look great

She was amazing in the first series go biglittle lies. I had never rated her as an actress but she was stunningly convincing as an abused wife.

I detest the cosmetic surgery look but I think Nicole Kidman's work must be considerably more skilled and expensive than most as she still looks beautiful and interesting to me. I also think she's one of the most chameleon-like actresses of all time.

Hugh Grant still gets work even though he's "let himself go". If Nicole did that she'd be dropped like a hot stone. Isn't it fucking great?

I get the feeling though that she also has genetics and natural beauty on her side. A bit like Julia Roberts - saw her recently, and she is still stunning.

It's a shame - she used to be so beautiful and probably still would be if she hadn't destroyed her face. She still looks great when the lighting is right, but close-up she looks scary. It's sad when women feel the need to destroy their beautiful faces like this.

Just watched the trailer. She looks like she's concentrating on not moving her face too much - but also looks beautiful, not as plastic as some slebs. She does look very different to when younger and you can see things that have changed a lot.

It is a bit funny how scenes with her and Hugh Grant make him look like a 300-year-old shar pei. He's only 7 years older than her. (Not dissing his looks though - and I think women who have wrinkles as they get older can also look great)

I actually think she suffers from Scleroderma. Of course Someone who can afford to have it well treated. No cure though and face/skin/hand issues all come with it. It fits with the attention her hand clapping got at an awards ceremony one time.

Her face, her decision, of course, but I agree with PP’s that it’s abit of a shame that she’s altered her appearance so drastically. She was naturally beautiful and still would be without all the work. But if she’s happy with the changes, great, it’s her money!

If she was happy with the changes she wouldn't keep messing with her face.

But what’s the alternative ? At 53 you’d be expecting quite a lot of wrinkles, sagging, jowling. It seems like a choice between that and looking a bit puffy/ slightly odd.

I don’t think Jennifer Anniston looks unrecognisable. I think she looks great.

I’ve been watching and I’m really enjoying it.
Her work doesn’t look too bad to me, but just before this I’d watched a recent Helen Hunt film.
Now that is some serious work.

She appears to have had a chin implant fairly recently. They're very popular in Hollywood apparently, in the search for that perfect oval shaped face. That's the thing about cosmetic procedures. When, like Kidman, you work in a very superficial environment and have basically limitless funds, you're always going to find some feature that can be 'improved'. So it's an endless quest for 'perfection'. Sounds miserable.

Sadly, she probably feel that her career rely on her beauty so I am not surprised she'll do anything.
