Just wondering, how many hours do you work in an average week and what is your job?

PandaMa · 29/10/2020 06:48

35 pre Covid and now 28 hrs. Customer service advisor. Money isn't great but 28 hrs is more than enough to drain you when you have to speak to the general public who are always annoyed something isn't quite how it used to be before the pandemic and talk to you as if you invented the virus Sad

Smarshian · 29/10/2020 06:52

Just about to start a new job 32 hours a week over 4 days (2 short, 2 long days) which means I can do pick up/drop off 3 days a week. Can’t wait!

Head and neck nurse 25 hours pw.

MrsGatsby99 · 29/10/2020 07:08

Part-time teacher now - 22 hours in classroom and around 10 hours prep/marking.

eenymeenymineymo · 29/10/2020 07:11

I do 12 hours over 2 days as a grocery assistant in a supermarket; used to do 30 hrs in an office over 4 days.
This is nice but would like some more hours to fill up my week a bit more - just another day or day & a half would be great- but even though its minimum wage they only seem to be taking on students for the holidays.

Restlessinthenorth · 29/10/2020 07:11

I'm a nurse lecturer. I am contracted to 29 hours. In reality I probably work 42 hours a week to keep afloat. Not a penny of the extra paid! I feel very lucky to have my job, which I generally like, do not complaining

Mylittlesandwich · 29/10/2020 07:12

I'm a claims handler. I do 37.5 hours a week just now. Dropping to 30 next year.
