Has anyone had a dental check up since covid 19?

I've had an appointment postponed, then the postponed appointment cancelled. The practice says they have no plans at all to start routine check ups again and will only try to see emergencies. Just wondering if this is the same for everyone and everywhere.

My hygeinist and routine check up as well as my 2 DDs were cancelled back in march. They called 6 week ago and we were seen last week. We're NHS patients at a private practice in the north west.

DC have had their regular check ups, DH has had a new patient check up followed by 2 treatment appointments and is actually there now for a follow up. I had to reschedule a booked appointment for a cracked filling due to illness but can rebook without issue. Private.

Our nhs dentist cancelled constantly before covid, they were awful. I'm so glad we switched

I use the nhs for the dentist. Had a tooth removed in June, then had a check up a few weeks ago. Next check up in 6 months. My hygienist is private. Saw her last week, first time for 8 months (usually go every 3 months) next appointment in January. So more or less back to normal apart from the 'covid theatre' surrounding the visits. I am West country.

Yes, last week at my usual private place. Had a check-up and hygienist appointment. All felt very safe.

We are all with a NHS dentist.

The DC had routine checkups about a month ago, we had the regular reminder texts about them a couple of days before.

However, I had a problem that I needed looking at, but when I asked they said that they’re only doing emergency treatments for adults. No checkups, no treatment for dental problems that aren’t big enough classed as an emergency.
