As you can probably tell I'm SO BORED of applying for jobs and the rubbish people write on LinkedIn about their company on the job descriptions (instead of anything vaguely useful like, oh I don't know, the salary or the hours) is making me stabby.

Would anyone like the guess what this organisation does/produces?

They're creating the future remember so no pressure.

I have no idea but that is a classy piece of managementese. Imagine working there. What are you up to today? Well, I'm leaning in at 10, then I have some co creations to get out by the end of the day. And of course, I'll be working on my whole being in between polishing my leadership.

Ok as a guess I'd say bank. !

BoulangerieBabs · 14/10/2020 08:25

God that's a lot of unnecessary language that's been vomited 😂

I'm saying Lakeland, it's an advert for Lakeland.

caughtalightsneeze · 14/10/2020 08:27

It's probably a bank. Sounds like the sort of shite RBS used to come out with. At the same time as having antiquated computer systems...

caughtalightsneeze · 14/10/2020 08:28

I particularly like 'we're all leaders'. I don't think that would work...

WorldSmellivating · 14/10/2020 08:31

caughtalightsneeze lol yes, literally the opposite of leadership

Nope not a bank or Lakeland Grin

I’d recognise this anywhere. It’s Wernham Hogg - innovative paper company - head office in Slough Grin

Me, leaning into a bold idea

Is it top marketing company Bluster, Balderash and Blithering?

Madcats · 14/10/2020 08:45

Microsoft or Google?

Otherwise I'd guess it was a new start up with high ambition and a laptop on the kitchen table.

Justlovedogs · 14/10/2020 08:45

Place marking so I find out who it is when OP let's the cat out of the bag... Wink

Going to guess at Apple, though. Don't they have the monopoly on the future? Grin

1starwars2 · 14/10/2020 08:47

IKEA?

Madcats · 14/10/2020 08:52

Sorry, I googled!

I suppose that there is a fair bit of Lycra involved.

So as not to spoil the guessing, they had been recruiting for positions near me pre lockdown. Hmm!

I would struggle to keep a straight face in interview.

Plussizejumpsuit · 14/10/2020 08:55

Not a clue....
But if they're actually doing all that stuff they must be very special!

WeAllHaveWings · 14/10/2020 09:03

With the "allow people to feel and perform" bit I think something to do with sport, but not adidas or nike. Too wordy for them.

RomaineCalm · 14/10/2020 09:05

Yes Madcats - definitely get the lycra out!

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 14/10/2020 09:06

We engineer innovative products that allow people to feel - and perform their best

Lucky pants?

WorldSmellivating · 14/10/2020 09:08

Lucky pants? I so wish that was it. Shall we start a company? Sorry, I mean a shall we start a forward-thinking change-engine?

Cosmosgrowinmygarden · 14/10/2020 09:09

MercedesDeMonteChristo · 14/10/2020 09:12

I’m going home for peloton.

WorldSmellivating · 14/10/2020 09:12

Lift manufacturers. Working together to elevate the world.

Delta1 · 14/10/2020 09:15

They sound like they're terrified and haven't got a clue who who's doing what! I'd say a very young start up ... maybe a fintech at a push.

Delta1 · 14/10/2020 09:16

Oh and keep going with the applications OP. You'll get there.
