Anyone up to much? DH & I have just had one of the rabbits in. So cute when they’re after treats! Our neighbours post bags of peelings etc through the fence so the bunnies do very well. I worked today & it was really busy but good as I had mainly lovely customers. One lady was buying Christmas stuff & bless her, she was like a kid in a sweetshop! So heartwarming. I had a lovely chat with her & her other half. When they left she said it was great to be served by a lovely lady. I do enjoy being on the tills. All of life is there for sure. Having chippy tea later ( didn’t finish lunch til nearly 4 so we’ll hang on a bit) & torn between fish & battered jumbo sausage. Then settling down to watch the BGT Final.

Dh and kids just had weekend junky tea (supermarket pizza for dd1 and dh, curry for Dd2).

Dd2 and dh are watching football (Dagenham and Redbridge vs Weston ffs) whilst dd1 is playing a game on the laptop.

We will continue with little mix the search at 7 then strictly. I can't decide what I want to eat. I have a gu desert but no massive appetite for real food.

Early bed as getting over a nasty virus.

GoodbyePorpoiseSpit · 10/10/2020 18:56

Just having a glass of Prosecco, curry for tea. Kids have had fish fingers and chips and are all plying nicely or out so... happy days

Justkeeprollingalong · 10/10/2020 18:57

Been decorating (and post decorating cleaning) today. Now drinking wine whilst husband cooks. Buggar all on TV though.

Bickles · 10/10/2020 18:58

DH and I are watching West Wing re runs on dvd and drinking. DS is playing with Lego.
Waiting for Saturday soup and dumplings to be ready.

GalOopNorth · 10/10/2020 18:59

DH is cooking sausage and mash, DS is playing Lego on the kitchen table. I am in front of the wood burner with a book and MN. Bliss Grin

I made beef stew and everyone is saying how amazing it is and I am basking in the positivity.

orangejuicer · 10/10/2020 19:04

Playtime with DS before bed in about half an hour, then it's a picky tea (sorry if that offends!) and a glass of wine.

FabulouslyFab · 10/10/2020 19:07

Had a really busy day yesterday so had a very lazy day today. I’ve only just realised the time so am microwaving a meal for one. A soak in the bath and an early night is called for methinks.

Cupcakegirl13 · 10/10/2020 19:10

We’ve had a long walk around an NT place , home to warm baths all round , kids watching a film before bed then DH and I are having baked Camembert , warm crusty bread and chutney - bliss !

Bwlch · 10/10/2020 19:10

Just finished preparing dinner. Had a shower and might do some jigsaw in a bit. The stove is lit, it's 27 degrees in here, I have a glass of wine and it's just luverly.

DH has spent most of the afternoon raking up over a million acorns in the garden. I think it's given him PTSD.

MajesticWhine · 10/10/2020 19:13

Picked apples in the rain. Lolling around now but going out for dinner shortly.

Emma10702 · 10/10/2020 19:13

I’m watching Corrie on catch up, considering a glass of wine although I probs shouldn’t as I drank a bit much last night by accident! Kids playing nicely with the lego. Enjoying the peace and quiet to be honest.

MrsWhites · 10/10/2020 19:14

Well I broke my little toe this morning so I’m lying on the sofa watching rubbish tv waiting for the BGT final with my DS. Will probably get an early night once DS goes to bed!

bearlyactive · 10/10/2020 19:16

Watching Only Fools and Horses for the eleventy bloody billionth time because there's nothing else on, texting, MNing and trying to distract myself from Celine Dion whirling around my head.

Bubbletrouble43 · 10/10/2020 19:17

I'm pissing about on mumsnet whilst dp is putting our twins to bed. Lovely quiet empty tidy lounge.

Crunchymum · 10/10/2020 19:18

DP playing guitar, DC1 playing PS4, DC2 finishing her homework, DC3 pulling all the toys out of toyboy.

I've just ordered a mezze for two (kids ate earlier!) and opened the wine. We'll stick a film on when kids go to bed.

Crunchymum · 10/10/2020 19:18

Toybox not toyboy Grin Grin

ParkheadParadise · 10/10/2020 19:20

I'm sharing a bag of jelly babies with dd. She's walking about with a facemask on so I can get them in my mouth quicker 🤣🤣.
DH is at the shops getting a bottle of coke for my brandy later and picking up a takeaway for dinner.

Emma10702 · 10/10/2020 19:20

Kids are bickering. I’m going to pour the wine

mbosnz · 10/10/2020 19:21

DD2 is studying in her room, DD1 is no doubt tik-tokking in hers, DH and I are watching celebrity chase, with a glass of wine, he's reading his kindle, and I'm feeling a bit shattered after reading a book and surfing the net. . .

PoopySalata · 10/10/2020 19:22

I stripped the wallpaper off the hall today, the kids are drawing on the walls, so far there are lots of 'coronavirus sucks' messages.

DH is playing computer games.

I'm lying on my bed full of takeaway 😀

Ihatesandwiches · 10/10/2020 19:22

Having a quick break on mn before I start cleaning again. Had a nasty bug and not properly cleaned in almost a month! Still got the kitchen and hall to do!

Sarahlou63 · 10/10/2020 19:24

Waiting for friends to arrive for dinner - doing pulled pork which has been cooking for 24 hours now, DP is doing a big tray of roasted veggies from the garden and I've made some very rich chocolate mousses (mice?!) for pud.

Thinking I'd rather slob in front of the last episode of Ratched with a Lidl pizza but it will be fine Smile

tigerbear · 10/10/2020 19:25

We’re discussing whether to buy a house to do up. We’re looking for somewhere anyway, however this is totally NOT what we’d previously been considering. By chance, DP has found out about a place not even on the market yet, a typical old person’s place (sadly, the old lady who was very old indeed, had rented it for about 50 years), and the guy who owns it would prob take about £400k for it. It needs EVERYTHING doing to it, and has a very scary massive cellar, but all done up, we could resell for around £700k
We’re now knocking back the gin, discussing whether we should do it (DP could do a lot of the work himself).
Oooh, a BIG PROJECT!
