Tricky conversation at work tomorrow.
Half term plans being cancelled.

Dee1975 · 07/10/2020 22:27

Losing my job due to what I believe will come next year - recession / mass unemployment etc .. It’s giving me sleepless nights.

Lollypop4 · 07/10/2020 22:27

Still wake , a week later, with dread that our family car is in need of a 4.5k repair.
we cant afford it, the car isnt worth that much and its still on finance.
Loved that car.
Sounds silly really but I'm gutted about it!

timothytoes · 07/10/2020 22:28

Searching for a new car

woofwoof1880 · 07/10/2020 22:28

TheChosenTwo · 07/10/2020 22:29

Actually on a personal level, I can’t think of anything. Which I fully appreciate is a nice position to be in.

bettsbattenburg · 07/10/2020 22:30

Scattering my dads ashes

lljkk · 07/10/2020 22:30

Some work things, too.

Made some fixable mistakes (at work) but feel dismayed about them anyway. Not communicating as well as I'd like with colleagues.
Too many (work) plates in the air.

Weather turning bad is making it harder to get out in the day.
Hoping Monday extra restrictions don't make it even harder to get out.

MonkeyPuddle · 07/10/2020 22:30

Giving birth. I’m 38w tomorrow.

Legoandloldolls · 07/10/2020 22:31

Possibility of school closure. Normally it's some worries about the kids or my house extension project but it's all more primal now. Like who cares if the kids fail all their exams later on, let's just get them through the door near a book. Kind of puts my past stresses into prospective.

I almost miss just worrying about if I could afford to put a roof on the extension or if my then, school refuser would turn up for his gcses. Happy days in hindsight 😂

Abendintheriver · 07/10/2020 22:33

Work tomorrow. I've been off sick the past couple of days and they've rung me about at least one thing every day. Dreading tomorrow.

Lissy50 · 07/10/2020 22:34

I too have a tricky conversation in work tomorrow Grin

CoronaIsWatching · 07/10/2020 22:34

Trump getting re-elected

TravellingSpoon · 07/10/2020 22:35

My Grandad's funeral next week, not helped by the fact that there has been a big family fall out and everyone is blaming each other and taking sides. Its horrible.

TravellingSpoon · 07/10/2020 22:36

@bettsbattenburg Thanks

yoyoyooo · 07/10/2020 22:38

Driving test Monday. I really, really need to pass as have been waiting since April

bettsbattenburg · 07/10/2020 22:41
@bettsbattenburg Thanks
Thank you, I don't know when it will be possible and hate having it not done but equally don't want to do it. It's horrible.

Pickypolly · 07/10/2020 22:42

COVID wave, it’s here, it’s fucking here & I just can’t deal with it all again.
Off sick with utter terror at it being there, what we will have to do, expectations, the utter utter horror of it.
I just can’t fucking do it.

Guineapigbridge · 08/10/2020 01:42

I'm very worried about the US election.
Trump won't lose well.

Goldistheanswer · 08/10/2020 01:45

What could Trump do though, if he loses?
