Just need some inspiration. Everything seems so gloomy.

This is a nice thread idea Smile

I'm looking forward to getting a new shed fitted, going to paint it, decorate it and make it really cosy.

Am planning to make sweets for bonfire night, fudge and caramel.

Also looking forward to watching a lot of crap telly this weekend Grin

I've joined a new gym today. Bit of a weird place (I hate changing gyms!) but really looking forward to the yoga class tomorrow 😁 Namaste 🧘‍♂️

FippertyGibbett · 07/10/2020 21:28

GoldenHoops · 07/10/2020 21:32

I'm looking forward to everyone going to bed so I can eat the last packet of Wotsits!

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 07/10/2020 21:35

I've got back into running and I go to bed each night looking forward to my run in the morning. I also plan something nice to cook every weekend, as can't go out as much and it's not as much fun with masks. This weekend I'm making Thai green curry and key lime pie.

Mixitupalot · 07/10/2020 21:37

Holidays... when ever that might be! Maybe 2022 two weeks in the ☀️

Retirement.. only 30 years to go!!

Bargebill19 · 07/10/2020 21:37

Some earrings I’ve ordered and some Halloween ones a friend has bought me. Just those fun acrylic ones that just make people smile.

TooManyPlatesInMotion · 07/10/2020 21:37

Cooking and eating a lovely steamed sponge pudding at the weekend.

akerman · 07/10/2020 21:38

I am going away to a cottage in the Cotswolds for two nights at the end of the month with my best friend. No husband, no kids, just the two of us. No holiday this year, and it’s been a hard year, so cannot wait. I’m also looking forward to a lie-in tomorrow.

bibs124 · 07/10/2020 21:39

Christmas even if it is different this year
Finishing decorating the house

I need this thread - feeling very gloomy today.

I'm looking forward to the weekend and a glass or two of red wine while I continue rewatching the entire Mad Men series.

lucysmam · 07/10/2020 21:41

Dd2's face when I tell her she's convinced me she can look after an orchid mantis. She's been reading & watching videos about them for months in a bid to get me to agree. She'll be made up Grin

LesLavandes · 07/10/2020 21:41

I am looking forward to taking myself away for a few days to a hotel with spa. I have been having a dreadful time and need a little break.

Has anyone got any ideas where? I will be alone. I want total comfort and in South East would be good. Thank you

chunkyrun · 07/10/2020 21:41

Soft play on sat! Steak dinner tomorrow.

igotdemons · 07/10/2020 21:42

Lovely thread idea ☺️

Not much but just had my new washing machine delivered and am looking forward to plumbing it in and trying it out as it has Wi-Fi connectivity and lots of bells and whistles my current one doesn’t have! 😂 I’m also going to invest in a heat pump tumble dryer soon 😂

Nothing else to look forward to really (can you tell?! 🤣).

happymummy12345 · 07/10/2020 21:43

It's my husbands birthday tomorrow so will hopefully have a nice day. Ds will be at school so will have a nice chilled day at home as he's off all day, then a nice takeaway in the evening (we recently tried a new place for the first time, they do proper Italian style wood fired pizzas, and it was honestly the nicest pizza we've ever had. Dh is a chef so for him to say that it must have been good. So will order from there again), and a few drinks when ds is in bed (obviously not loads as he is working Friday and ds has school).

elQuintoConyo · 07/10/2020 21:45

Three-day weekend this weekend.

Decorating the house for Halloween (lots of bats, ghosts and spiders made by ds out of card and string).

MidWinterPresentMas Wink decorating, snuggling in the house, fluffy clothes, cheese.

Sewing gifts for people (small felt tree decs to match their tastes: Harry Potter tryptich, a couple of mini books, festive bacon!)

Walking the dog on the beach when it's allowed- 16th October, can't wait, she'll be so happy.

Seeing my dad on zoom on Saturday.

Payday Grin

ChelseeDagger · 07/10/2020 21:46

My DH turns thirty next month.
We are booked in to a cheap and cheerful hotel in Southport where we will go for a mexican, an indian, wetherspoons breakfasts, drink copious amounts of wine and have loads of sex, sans the five children.

I couldn't be more excited even if we were going to the dominican for a week.

elQuintoConyo · 07/10/2020 21:46

Hoxton I finished the entire show just last week! Fancying Don Draper makes me feel dirty Grin

HoxtonBonnet · 07/10/2020 21:50

@elQuintoConyo it is so unbelievably good! And yes, gazing at Don Draper does make my troubles fade away.

bigchris · 07/10/2020 21:51

ChelseeDagger

Fingers crossed it's not all shut Sad

lucysmam · 07/10/2020 21:55

@igotdemons I had my new washer delivered just under 2 weeks ago, plumbed it in myself . It's little beepy tune isn't at the point of irritating yet...I'm still amazed at how much better than the old one it is Grin

ChelseeDagger · 07/10/2020 21:55

bigchris

Our contingency plan is just to order in to the hotel, so long as that stays open 🤞

Dee1975 · 07/10/2020 22:19

What a lovely thread. It’s always good to have something - no matter how small!
For me it’s a 3 night break in a caravan in half term (fingers crossed still goes ahead!). Like everyone, we’ve missed out on our family holidays this year - so this is now the BIG holiday 🤣🤣
We are all looking forward to getting away from these 4 walls. Don’t care if everything is shut around us. Just need a change of scenery.
