What’s the most expensive thing in your fridge right now?

Pure nosiness. For me it’s a bottle of Italian wine that I got for birthday. Food wise two steaks for dinner

The 10lb lump of cheddar cheese that will last my husband and I a month or so.

I didn’t know keeping gin in the fridge was a thing!
Half a leg of lamb and a bottle of Aldi champagne are a close tie in ours

Yet another joint of silverside for roasting tomorrow (£20).

I’m a bit worried a# I don’t usually buy silverside, thought it wasn’t a good roasting joint but the butcher persuaded me otherwise. I don’t want to pot roast it because I want to make roasting tin gravy.

Pork joint for tomorrow’s lunch. It was about £7 so not dead!

We have about 3 items in our fridge at the minute so it would be a toss up between some beer or chicken breasts

A bottle of wine, about £50 a bottle

Four Moët and Chandon and a Veuve Cliquot.

Probably the small collection of cheese I have nothing fancy all from Sainsbury’s and Aldi

A cheesecake that cost me about £10 to make but is now a week old and needs thrown.

We don’t keep a well stocked kitchen at all. It’s embarrassing.

A couple of bottles of Nyetimber i've had for a few years and haven't had anything worth celebrating so they sit and chill. Oh and a fillet steak that would have been £12 if it hadn't been yellow stickered to under half that

A bottle of Louis Roderer vintage champers a client bought for me years ago. It will finally be drunk after I’ve got this baby out (currently 36 weeks) as I’ll bloody well deserve it!!

Rhubarb vodka. Salmon fillets and naice smoked ham.

Pickled herring.

Half a litre bottle of chartreuse (for use in cocktails).

Food wise, the pack of two rather small chicken breasts and equally small block of grana padano were each more expensive than the 1kg + lump of pork I have for tomorrow (though pork was on special offer).
