What’s the most expensive thing in your fridge right now?

Pure nosiness. For me it’s a bottle of Italian wine that I got for birthday. Food wise two steaks for dinner

Gammon steaks then lurpack

Cheese

A pack of sausages about £1.59
Only got fruit veg marg yoghurt and milk in

3 packets of butter = £4.47.

I plan to shop on Monday.

About £3,000 worth of Imraldi.

Hot smoked salmon- it's a huge pack.

Plus wine.

Smoked salmon and venison

Some cheese Likely the Epoisse as its unopened.

A vitamin B complex liquid.

Block of mild cheese at £1.79

Bottle of champagne ( me & DH are child free tonight so treating ourselves 🥂)

If we are talking food it will be the diced beef for tomorrow’s stew from the butcher, was £10.50

Some fish oil that cost £60 for the bottle

Chicken breasts, £3 ish.

Tuna steaks, although all condiments combined on the top shelf are probably worth a small fortune

The beef for tomorrow’s roast for 4 of us. The butcher said I was getting a bargain but it was still £20
Think I’ll stick to Waitrose in future

It's fully stocked with food as today is shopping say, but the most expensive item is probably miso paste which was about £3. All our meat and fish is in the freezer.

Food. Taifun Basil infused tofu. Huge Price increase recently to £4 per block £20 per kg. Ridiculous, but it's hard to find nice, low carb vegetarian protein.

Tons of cheese, not sure price per kg things like Aubergine Pate etc.

@Hotelhelp We received it and immediately recognised it was a vintage bottle of very expensive champagne - I used to work in members clubs in Mayfair so had an idea of the price. Ultimately we did Google it to see how much it was but ONLY because we were going to their wedding a couple months later and wanted to make sure our gift was in a similar price range. Not sure if that was the right thing to do or not, but we didn't want to be seen as ungrateful or responding with a much cheaper present!
