If we are talking food it will be the diced beef for tomorrow’s stew from the butcher, was £10.50

Some fish oil that cost £60 for the bottle

Chicken breasts, £3 ish.

AtLeastThreeDrinks · 03/10/2020 16:19

Tuna steaks, although all condiments combined on the top shelf are probably worth a small fortune Grin

FizzyPink · 03/10/2020 16:21

The beef for tomorrow’s roast for 4 of us. The butcher said I was getting a bargain but it was still £20 Shock
Think I’ll stick to Waitrose in future

delilahbucket · 03/10/2020 16:27

We also have a bottle of champagne, which has only gone in as I've had fantastic business news today and we're celebrating with that and pizza 😂. It's fully stocked with food as today is shopping say, but the most expensive item is probably miso paste which was about £3. All our meat and fish is in the freezer.

VampireBill · 03/10/2020 16:28

A £25 bottle of heptavac. It's a vaccine for sheep.

MJMG2015 · 03/10/2020 16:28

Bottle of Champagne (gift)

Food. Taifun Basil infused tofu. Huge Price increase recently to £4 per block £20 per kg. Ridiculous, but it's hard to find nice, low carb vegetarian protein.

Tons of cheese, not sure price per kg things like Aubergine Pate etc.

Nothing very exciting.

maddiemookins16mum · 03/10/2020 16:29

A hand of pork from the butcher.

🌷for your good news!!
Dillo10 · 03/10/2020 16:30

@Hotelhelp We received it and immediately recognised it was a vintage bottle of very expensive champagne - I used to work in members clubs in Mayfair so had an idea of the price. Ultimately we did Google it to see how much it was but ONLY because we were going to their wedding a couple months later and wanted to make sure our gift was in a similar price range. Not sure if that was the right thing to do or not, but we didn't want to be seen as ungrateful or responding with a much cheaper present!

vinoandbrie · 03/10/2020 16:31

A home by Nico box for supper tonight 😊

GameSetMatch · 03/10/2020 16:35

Aftersun, might as well bin it, don’t think we will need it again this year.

BlueJava · 03/10/2020 16:38

There is hardly anything in our fridge, so right now probably yoghurts. After Tesco's deliver it will be some smoked salmon and cream cheese
