Pure nosiness. For me it’s a bottle of Italian wine that I got for birthday. Food wise two steaks for dinner

Lamb shanks also!

crispcottonsheets · 03/10/2020 16:59

Medication to treat a long term health condition. Probably a couple of grands worth.

Unsurprisingly the NHS were exceptionally unwilling to dish it out and I had to go through all sorts of hoops first.

ForeverTeach · 03/10/2020 17:01

I want to see pictures of these fridges. My most expensive thing is blocks of Parmesan.

Pic of fridge included!

@Dillo10 I would definitely have done the same! Hope you got them something good in return. A £300 bottle of champagne would be so wasted on me.

Shooglywheel · 03/10/2020 17:04

Loch Awe Smokehouse smoked salmon.

Peasbewithyou · 03/10/2020 17:06

Ooh I wish I had some lovely Champagne in my fridge!

Most expensive thing in mine at the mo is a bottle of Aperol. And then food wise it’s probably the wedge of Parmesan cheese.

Peasbewithyou · 03/10/2020 17:07

Ooh also a mammoth bag of naice espresso coffee beans for our bean-to-cup coffee machine. Best present I ever bought DH! Grin

LongPauseNoAnswer · 03/10/2020 17:13

2 waygu fillet steaks

ScribblyGum · 03/10/2020 17:15

Fancy Williams Pear Schnapps from Austria probably.

VettiyaIruken · 03/10/2020 17:18

The coconut water at 2 quid.
I don't have expensive tastes. 😁

Sunbird24 · 03/10/2020 17:23

The trigger shot for my IVF!

Other than that, probably a £3.50 ready meal for tonight’s tea. Nausea got me while I was shopping today so I can’t face cooking.

BlackeyedSusan · 03/10/2020 17:46

Cheese.

Okokokitsout · 03/10/2020 17:49

Probably wine we buy if from naked wines and have a few bottles of white/fizz in there. No meat as I'm vegetarian and my partner hasn't bought any.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 03/10/2020 17:50

A joint of sirloin-went to my lovely local butcher just before they shut and they had it left and gave it to me for topside price-I love him!🤣

happysunr1se · 03/10/2020 17:54

A large jar of ginseng root.

CoffeeAndABook · 03/10/2020 17:55

Mine is my pollen de- sensitisation treatment (it cost £350)

LBOCS2 · 03/10/2020 17:56

A 'Michelin meal at home' which I collected earlier for our dinner from a local restaurant. Three courses of excellent food, plus instructions on how to heat/cook/prepare/serve. I'm looking forward to it!

FallonsTeaRoom · 03/10/2020 17:58

A bottle of wine I was sent which I've now discovered cost the sender £35 (for one bottle of sauvignon blanc) Shock

Spied · 03/10/2020 18:01

6 cans of appletiser £3.59

SerafinaPekkala · 03/10/2020 18:04

@Afwan

I feel your pain Afwan! I have a 6 pack (330ml bottles) in mine - which cost the equivalent of 16 GBP Shock.
OpposableThumbs2 · 03/10/2020 19:07

A magnum of Prosecco.
It was a house warming present six months ago but not really had enough people round to make it worth opening.

binkyblinky · 03/10/2020 19:07

A bottle of Wrecking Coast clotted cream gin

TheTempest · 03/10/2020 19:18

Blinky that sounds amazing. Does it taste as good as I imagine?

I’d say my hello fresh meals for us, as my wine I like is £3.75 a bottle Grin

Mumtoone39 · 03/10/2020 19:22
