Pure nosiness. For me it’s a bottle of Italian wine that I got for birthday. Food wise two steaks for dinner

spottybitch · 03/10/2020 19:26

LaurieFairyCake · 03/10/2020 19:35

5 bottles of different gins

I love gin

mrsm43s · 03/10/2020 19:43

About a kilo of fillet steak. However I bought it yellow stickered in the last reductions of the day and it cost me less than £2. Original price would have been around £30.

bluechameleon · 03/10/2020 19:49

A chicken for tomorrow. But I just noticed that the wine rack had an aubergine and two leeks in it and rectified that immediately so now it might be the wine.

Imissmoominmama · 03/10/2020 19:51

A massive lump of Blacksticks Blue cheese.

CtrlU · 03/10/2020 19:52

Some octopus I picked up earlier on in the week for dinner

Figgyboa · 03/10/2020 20:09

Vintage Dom Perignon.

jay55 · 03/10/2020 20:22

Vodka

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 03/10/2020 20:26

A bottle of Aspall's 1728, retails at £35/40 in Harrods. Dh works for the brewery though so we got it for free as they couldn't shift all of it due to lockdown. There were 4 originally. Actually purchased by us, yoghurts Grin

PhilSwagielka · 03/10/2020 20:50

Probably some red chilli paste or something. I like my curries.

Bandol · 03/10/2020 20:52

The emergency foie gras. We live in France so this isn't that extravagant or unusual. The emergency champagne doesn't count because it's in the wine cave rather than the fridge.

sqirrelfriends · 03/10/2020 20:53

A bottle of grey goose. If specifically food then a big pack of smoked salmon for tomorrow's breakfast.

RuffleCrow · 03/10/2020 20:55

A block of tofu

mamaduckbone · 03/10/2020 20:58

Joint of pork for tomorrow's dinner I would think.

CherryPavlova · 03/10/2020 21:01

A bottle of 2009 Pape Clement Blanc which we were given when friends came to supper a couple of weeks ago and three Scottish lobster to cook for friends tomorrow.

thebear1 · 03/10/2020 21:05

Very large bottle of innocent tropical juice. Was about £3 but ds loves it.

WhentheDealGoesDown1 · 03/10/2020 21:05

A box with a small piece of lamb for 2 from M&S, was £7 and it doesn’t look very big

positivelynegative · 03/10/2020 21:25

It was the Bolly, but we drank it earlier. Now a bottle of gin.

CherryPavlova · 03/10/2020 21:29

No wine cave contents is cheating @Bandol. A new thread perhaps about contents of caves and cellars? 😁

raspberryk · 03/10/2020 21:37

A decent bottle of apple cider vinegar, it would have been a nice prosecco but I removed it to make room for tomorrows chicken.

chocolatespiders · 03/10/2020 21:39

Waitrose steak pie
