HELP! NURSERY ISSUE.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 10:47

Good morning!

So when my daughter has a nasty fall or feels a shock of pain she will hold her breath and have a sort of fit/seizure. It literally lasts 60-90 seconds. Shes had 3 her entire life. Informed the Doctors and they have referred her to neurology. I also informed the nursery and they said that they can't accept my daughter back until they have a letter from the doctor stating;

 1. What happens
 2. Shes been referred
 3. What to do in the event. Which is call an ambulance
So I called the docs yesterday and the receptionist said she doesnt know if the doctors will give me one! And to call back Monday. Now in panicking. I need her in nursery so I can work. Please someone tell me the doctors will provide a letter Confused I've not slept for worrying. If they dont I havent a clue what to do!

Well I expect that the GP will sort something out in the interim and when she’s see by consultant they’ll sort the long term. The GP won’t charge because it’s a child.

Try not to worry the receptionist probably doesn’t understand fully.

It’ll be fine and it’ll get sorted on Monday.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:02

@Badger2033 thank you for your reassuring words and advice. Have a lovely weekend

Why? I'm oy asking you to clarify what it is you want people to answer, but you can't seem to do that.
You can't demand I leave the thread. I haven't been rude to you. There really is no need for you to take such great offence at nothing.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:14

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion I can easily do that but I'm choosing not to as I have felt you have been rude and condescending. Others have answered with no issue at all. It's you making issues. I'm not demanding I've asked, so if you would like to stay then by all means stay. Enjoy your weekend.

Tbf id be questioning why the nursery are so concerned about it happening- are they not supervising closely enough??

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 03/10/2020 15:29

Rude and condescending? Where? Honestly you have lost me.

I don't particularly want to, but you tagging me so........

Its you who has been rude to people for no reason at all. People have given you answers.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:29

No you have been very rude. I answered the question you asked. I told you why the nursery wouldn't take your child without the doctors note, which is what you asked. I also pointed out how rude you were to another poster.

pastandpresent · 03/10/2020 15:39

OP, if you @ someone, they get notification unless they disable it. So, every time you comment you are tagging Iminaglass, which could be annoying.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:44

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion I DIDNT ASK THAT QUESTION

OP posts:
Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:44

@pastandpresent I'm replying to her? Like shes replying to me? Ffs.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 03/10/2020 15:48

Yes you did.

Mumsnext1979 · 03/10/2020 15:48

My daughter (from 11 months old) now 5 does this. Her diagnosis is reflux annoxic seizures. It’s an involuntary reaction to shock or pain. She was taught to sit down so if she fainted etc she was already on the floor.
The nursery staff had never heard of it before. It transpired that they understood it to be blue face.
If this is the same she’ll grow out of it and hopefully you’ll get resolution soon.

pastandpresent · 03/10/2020 15:49

You can reply without tagging. Iminaglass was saying that, after you told her to leave the thread.
It's very bad manner, unless you do it on purpose to annoy someone when they don't want to be tagged. No one on this thread is tagging you. You can simply reply just with username, without @, then they don't get notification, so they may not see your comment.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:52

It's bad manner to tag the person I am replying to @pastandpresent ? Shes replying to me and I'm replying to her. Reslly doesnt need your input tbh.

@Otherthinkingmommy i thought i was being helpful, i was suggesting thatvyou be clearer in your communication as several people have misunderstood. If you are so stressed you cant be clear and are very rude when people ask for clarification the nursery and the receptionist /doctor will be less likely to be able/willing to help.
I am sorry if i have upset you.

Otherthinkingmommy · 03/10/2020 15:56

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion no I really didnt. That is no where on my thread. I know exactly why they are asking and everything else. I wanted to know if its possible that the doctor will provide a letter and if anyone experienced this. I'm worried sick and you have just wound me up for no reason. Its disgusting you need to grow up and get out more

OP posts:
Ffsseriously · 03/10/2020 15:56

@Otherthinkingmommy, see what i did there i clarified because you misunderstood then i apologised for it.

pastandpresent · 03/10/2020 15:56

Ok, I'm out. Good luck with the gp on Monday.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 03/10/2020 16:02

I don't think I'm the one that needs to grow up here. Nowhere have I said anything yo wind you up, you have wound yourself up. Your attitude is embarrassing to be perfectly honest.

wedding2020 · 03/10/2020 16:08

Wow OP, you are being so rude. It doesn’t matter how stressed and worried you are, there is no excuse for this level of rudeness when people are clearly just trying to help

MJMG2015 · 03/10/2020 16:14
@Itwasaquarterpast11 excuse me but I did not once say anything about the nursery ensuring I have childcare. I am completely on theie side. I meant from the health professional side. I need the letter I cant not work. I completely understand the reasons behind this. So please read my post properly before you write something so rude and unhelpful
Yes you did. You wrote

They surely csnt leave me without childcare
.

MJMG2015 · 03/10/2020 16:19

I hate the way quoting works.

I see you've alreadyhad an argument about this answered.

But you're continually being rude to people.

I'm out.
