Trump being airlifted to hospital

A few months ago it was Boris now it is Trumps turn to be possibly very ill. I hope he is ok. Such a frightening time for americans.

I hope he's okay. When all's said and done, he's a human being with a family who love him.

I'm sure they're just being cautious, though. I thought that with Boris, too. Seeing how ill my grandad was with it, who had to beg to be admitted to hospital never mind intensive care, I think he would have had to take a much, much longer stretch away from working.

Better minds than mine will confirm but certainly Johnson was sworn in on the flight back from Dallas I believe.

Not necessarily. The Republican Party would select a replacement candidate - even though some early voting has already taken place in this election.

It looks weak for DT to go to hospital. He hates looking weak. I'll wager he's feeling pretty rough is why he went. No longer mild.
The correspondent in Washington mentioned that there is a fly equipped"facility" in the White House with staff on call 24 hours a day.

I think it must be pretty serious, he ticks a lot of Covid boxes, male, overweight, old.

Course he did!
My nr neighbour was in ICU for 5 weeks, came out in wheelchair, still poorly weeks later, thats nearly dying.

Johnsons was all precautionary and PR.

I think Trump is seriously ill, as said he wont want to appear weak.

Yes. From the first press reports, the message he wanted to put out was that he was feeling just fine. He wouldn't change that unless he had to. And if he was going for the sympathy vote (literally), he wouldn't have started off that way.

I don't think he's seriously ill, i think it's more a precaution. In the USA celebrities and other high profile people get admitted for trivial things like exhaustion. I don't believe it's a PR stunt, if anything it makes him look worse as he was mocking the opposition for wearing masks.

I was think of the best case scenario on this.

Trump gets a bit of covid, gets better quickly.
Trump passed covid on to Biden at the debate due to Trump's own recklessness.
Biden dies of covid.
Huge public backlash against Trump sees him hammered in the election.
Kamala Harris becomes president :)

Obviously I don't want Biden to die though, that's the only big downside on my dream plan.

Biden not going the distance was predicted by an Australian psychic before Kamala was chosen. She will then be lead for the election. Sorry my lack of sleep leads me to a strange and varied reading list.Blush
