I’m currently cooking a meat and potato pie. I love cooking autumnal food, I find it much easier cooking in autumn/winter than summer!

What’s for dinner at yours?

Sausages and mash here tonight. An easy one.

Bacon, leek and mushroom pasta. Yum!

I'm planning salmon fishcakes but just realised we are out of dill so it might be something else!

Jackets tonight. Probably with tuna mayo and a big salad.
Wednesday is always jackets in our house.

Red pesto chicken with pasta and Salad.

Veggie Curry, rice and something wonderful for pud!

Well I've made a chicken bacon and leek pie, but I'm thinking of freezing and making something else!

Bockwurst.

Bought in a fit of enthusiasm for a German sausage in Lidl the other day, but I have no idea what to serve with them.

Pasta with tomato and olive sauce. It's one of our go-to quick and easy end-of-the-week meals (it is the end of our meal planning week as we plan and shop on Fridays). DH has had a crap day at work and I am in between night shifts so just got up and have to get ready to go back to work in a bit. We don't have the time or the inclination to cook whatever we had planned for today.

Chicken and chorizo jambalaya (the version on BBC food) with broccoli

Cottage pie with mixed potato and cauliflower topping.

Baked porcini pasta if I can be arsed.

Vegetable and quorn chicken fajitas with spicy rice. Very excited yum

Sweet potato and spinach dal with some rice, chutney and yoghurt.

Something involving courgette, mushroom and sweet potato - or may leave out the sweet potato and make veg lasagne.

Cod wrapped in prosciutto with new potatoes, grilled carrot batons and grilled asparagus

I'm having pizza and chips as I've been put all day at work in the pouring rain.

I can eat meat and potato pie and stews in the height of summer as well as at this time of year though.

I have just had an early dinner, treated myself to cod and chips and peas, followed by apple pie and custard. I am meant to be dieting but felt the need for comfort food today :)

Ox cheek pie with mash topping, roasted carrots and parsnips on the side. It’s pouring with rain and quite cold today so it’s the perfect dish for the day!

In fact, I'd be eating pizza and chips if I'd been inside all day too!

DP requested a risotto but I cannot be bothered to walk to Sainsburys for ingredients so I’m going to make a sort of easy chorizo paella instead to use up the chorizo that’s been hanging about the fridge for several months

Buttery boiled potatoes, red cabbage or coleslaw. Yum!

Ohhh I fancy fish and chips now! And pizza. And a curry, with dahl.

I fancy all the food.

Need to clear out the freezer a bit so fish finger sandwiches, homemade togarashi spiced chips, homemade coleslaw.
