what music did your parents listen to?

I'm working my way through the Eurythmics, The Beatles and Paul Simon atm.

What else might my dad have listened to when I was young???

And if your dad didn't put Dire Straits 'Brothers In Arms' on in the car, was it even legal for him to drive?

My dad (born post war) only ever listened to classical. My mum (over a decade younger than him) liked Cat Stevens, John Denver and Joan Baez.

I'm a 70s child but my DM had me young and was in her late 20s/early 30s in the 80s. She listened to Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams, Fleetwood Mac, Metallica (was mortified about that one!), David Bowie
