My dad listened to the moody blues. I quite liked them. He was about 30 in the early 80s. He also listened to the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and a lot of folk music (I think that was just him rather than reflective of his generation though)

I'd forgotten about Boney M. We had one record with an album cover that really freaked me out as a child. I was telling DH about it the other day as it somehow came up, and had to google it to show him.

I actually love Boney M now I’m older, they’re great songwriters and very original - they have some pretty ‘interesting‘ videos on YouTube so I’m not as shocked by that insane picture as I might once have been!
