'The happy Place Cafe' AKA the cafe is open thread 3

Morning all.

For the regulars, you know the routine, for anyone new -

Welcome to the Happy Place virtual cafe. The cafe is open every morning for breakfast, there are a number of different seats / tables including some wing back chairs to either side of a log fire.

Dogs and children are welcome although be warned they are sometimes whisked away to see the kitchen.

In the garden there is a sensory area, a cat area with catnip bush, a water feature (feel free to cool your feet) and an area for the kitten bees (tiny kittens, the size of a bee but with wings and the ability to sprout an umbrella from their tails).

Florence is a French pastry Chef who makes the most wonderful bread, cakes and pastries.

Fernando is a cocktail waiter who is also in charge of the huge posh Italian coffee machine.

If you don't like the menu then feel free to cook for yourself or ask one of the regulars.

Well the sky is an interesting blue but dramatic clouds so I thought we could risk a final BBQ of the year.

Obviously the usual sausages, bacon, burgers, corn cobs etc. Fernando will be running the BBQ, Florence is inside making brioche burger buns and some Ninja type guy who claims to be responsible for the arrival of the hibachi grill is making hot drinks.

He claims he has been here 2 weeks we just have not noticed him.

Packing up is apparently some Japanese style kebabs and green tea, I say apparently as the bags were already [packed when I arrived late this morning.

I'd claim DS as the ninja but he tends to charge around the house in his ninja outfit.

I'm doing a maths degree with the OU. For fun. As you do.

@sashh bizarrely I can sort of see how it would be fun. Though I was very relieved to pass my final professional exam.

Well I've packed the BBQ away, I don't think we will be using it for a while.

I've put a couple of cat shelters in the garden and a hedgehog house, the kittenbees are still active in the garden, but coming in for a warm up.

Overnight the ninja has put rice in the rice cooker and made miso soup so if anyone wants a Japanese style breakfast let me know, a low table and cushions has appeared as well.

Florence is making a selection of cakes, Fernando is on hot drinks and the packing up is rice balls with various fillings and miso soup.
