This is my second visit, last time I got toilet and kitchen roll, washing capsules and fabric softner etc.
What else is good? Frozen food etc?
TIA 😆

Everything 😂 I go every pay day, it's the highlight of my month 😂
The cooked chickens are lovely, and they do maple flavoured pork steaks on the chillers - they're to die for.
Buy all the cakes too, and don't forget you hot dog and drink on the way out for £1.50 😋

@ThomasHardyPerennial

Peanut butter filled pretzels!
@ThomasHardyPerennial where are these?!?

@SospanFrangipan omg the hot dogs! 🤤

SospanFrangipan · 10/09/2020 21:30

@HansBanans I know right! Delish 😋😋

HansBanans · 10/09/2020 21:31

@SospanFrangipan yes! They need to make Costco drive thru's just for those hot dogs! Away to convince my husband to make a Costco trip at the weekend 😂

SospanFrangipan · 10/09/2020 21:34

@HansBanans Costco drive thru is a bloody fantastic idea!

Earslaps · 10/09/2020 21:36

In the freezer section, the Chinese duck pancakes. Amazing!

Lunchbox things like babybel cheese.

We buy the big bag of ready grated Parmesan and keep in the freezer.

Cadbury's drinking chocolate powder.

Big jars of bonne Maman.

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/09/2020 21:38

As long as the drive thru did slices of pizza and chicken bakes I'm in.

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/09/2020 22:10

Oh and bleach! Keep seeing stuff around the house that I bought there

ThomasHardyPerennial · 10/09/2020 22:13

@User45 they are Kirkland brand, in a bit plastic tub. They are my absolute favourite!

00100001 · 10/09/2020 22:14

HansBanans · 10/09/2020 22:15

@SospanFrangipan @WaxOnFeckOff yes! Let's start a petition!!!

00100001 · 10/09/2020 22:18

@User45 look in the section that has the giant bags of crisps (not the multipack ones, the GIANT bags).
They're in a large clear plastic tub, about 30cm high. Cost around £10.

You'll try one and think...ehh... they're okay...then you'll have another...and another...and before you know it you've just eaten 509 I'd the bloody moreish delicious things

WaxOnFeckOff · 10/09/2020 22:21

@HansBanans - I've googles and they don't seem to even have drive thru in the states but possibly to do with membership requirements?

00100001 · 10/09/2020 22:22

Their cakes are grim. I mean the big 'fresh' ones like the carrot cake with little fondant carrots on the top.

They're just nothingy taste wise, with weird ambient icing on top.

But the pastries and bagels are nice.

Polkadotties · 10/09/2020 22:25

I love their sweet chilli thighs and chilli pork belly strips. Tbh most of the meat is such good quality.

cortex10 · 10/09/2020 22:29

Frozen Portuguese custard tarts

ChetChet · 10/09/2020 22:32

I don't rate their brownies.

Their tub of washing powder- 400 washes- did very well for us. No irritation or reactions from us and cleaned all clothes just as good as Ariel.

I'm perusing their frozen gyozas and dumplings right now. I alreadybuy these from the Chinese supermarket at the moment but MN recommended Costo versions on another thread so my interest is piqued.

I still believe Aldi's premium dishwasher tabs are the best across the board so I won't try Costco ones.

Agree about the beef burgers. Yum yum yum.

BogRollBOGOF · 10/09/2020 22:34

There is a reason for my username. Mind you all those critical voices about stockpiling in the spring clearly haven't dealt with my DCs backsides in the house for 5m. Grin
I did stocķ up in Feb before it was fashionable though Wink

Crepes are lovely.
Sausages
Japanese dumplings
Chocolate rasins

HansBanans · 10/09/2020 22:43

@WaxOnFeckOff oh possibly, I didn't think of that! ☹️

BlackPuddingEggs · 10/09/2020 22:44

Gin advent calendar is in store. I got mine today.
Frozen Bbq pork belly cubes are our latest favourite. And whole Brie.

Ilovechoc12 · 11/09/2020 09:30

Nuts , breakfast bars , jam , chrisps, prawns , sea bass , New York cheese cake , yogurts , butter , bin bags , flash floor cleaner , finish dishwash , Persil tablets , tin foil , disposable plates and bowls , water , sausages , bacon , used to buy burgers changed the mix 🤮, salmon half’s , chicken breasts , soft little rolls , steaks , balsam tissues , kitchen roll,
Every 6/ 7 weeks - £450

diplodocusinermine · 11/09/2020 09:41

DH and I called through on our way off on holiday (UK, self catering) and bought a caesar salad, curry and taco meal from chiller section and that was pretty much food sorted for the week! Do be careful in the meat section - they do sell US pork, so make sure you look for UK meat. Other meat is really good quality and the on the bone chicken pieces, either thighs, wings or drumsticks are really good value.

Bin bags, hoummus, falafels, cheese (there is an aged dutch cheese which is great). The riverway pork sausages are a very high meat content.

Trays of peaches and nectarines and boxes of strawberries over the summer have been lush - taste like fruit should taste.

We usually treat DMum to their boxes of 6 x tiramisu and millionaires shortbread desserts.

Frozen fish/seafood is very good.

I try and avoid the bakery section because thier danish pastries and croissants are so good......

Washing liquid, foil, cling film.

Large jars of olives and sliced chillis.

diplodocusinermine · 11/09/2020 09:42

ChetChet - the gyozas are nice.
