What do you have that money can't buy?

Coming to terms with the fact that im probably never going to be a gazillionaire 🤣🤣 But I do feel lucky in lots of ways.

You know that lush feeling you get just before you fall asleep and you are so cosy and comfy? I was chatting to a friend saying that it didn't matter how well off you were that feeling would be the same!

So with that in mind, what experience or things do you do/have that money has no relevance to?

Having a safe cozy place to sleep costs money?

Loving healthy children

A happy, drama-free, fun marriage.

Adult children who still want to spend time with us.

I didn’t have a good relationship with my mother, so find it strange that my dds still like me.

Gorgeous marriage and children.
My parents are still around to see their grandchildren.
We're safe.

@LizzieSiddal Mine are still young but yes a thousand times this! I would love it if my adult children and us were close 😍

What do I have that money can’t buy?

Poverty

A teenager who shows love and respect and isn't moody! How is that even possible?! I certainly wasn't as lovely at that age !

Exactly same sense of humour as my husband.

My children and my cats (all rescue) dh is a diamond in the rough as well.

My sanity, very easy going happy children so far, including step son and easy going DH (although I guess men and women can be bought)

My daughter.

Good physical health. Very grateful for this.

My faith

My friends
Slim ankles
A sense of humour

My husband. Genuinely the kindest man in the world. I read about some of the shit women go through on here and while my life is a long way from perfect and I have other problems, my marriage isn’t one of them. I’m very lucky.

Oh and my pets too.
And my mother

A husband who more than pulls his weight with kids/home/life admin. We actually sacrificed money to enable this. So worth it.

Pets that love me. I love the feeling of a tiny animal having complete trust in you.

A sexual partner who knows what I like.

Family who love me and I enjoy the company of.

An ability to occupy myself through daydreaming as much as required - I'm rarely bored.

Slim ankles

Sigh. My mother has wonderful legs and none of her daughters inherited them, though DB has a finely-turned calf.

A job I love. I was better off as a teacher. Ta in a special school now. I love it so much. Staff I work with are just wonderful.

My partner and our daughter, I'm very lucky to have them both. We're skint but I'm not bothered, they're my happiness

2 lovely DC who are so loved
Are lovely dog who I've had 10 year and couldn't imagine life without him
A really good relationship with my neighbours

A kind husband
A waist

Hair that looks ok with six months not going to the hairdresser.

No pain.
