It was Rockwell. I think Micheal Jackson sung the chorus and Rockwell just did the funny voice rap/talky bits.

@flea that’s Suburbia by Pet Shop Boys (one of my faves of theirs).

And the one above it is Howard Jones Things can only get better (my spell check changed that to thongs can only get better!🤣)

Ooh, yes, Suburbia is one of my joint favourite Pet Shop Boys tracks as well (along with Being Boring).

I don’t think anyone’s going to get those 90s ones now. With all those lyrics you’d at least know you knew them even if they wouldn’t quite come to you (bit like that other Kate Bush one - about the cloud - ggrrr!) so probably not much point adding more lyrics. I’ll just leave them for a while in case some of the regulars who’ve not been around the last couple of days turn up.
