I’m rewatching Lord of the Rings and can’t decide on who I like best ? I’m thinking Faramir is more moody....... decisions decisions

Book Faramir is my favourite LotR character along with Eowyn. He is lovely!

Aragorn over Faramir but Eomer overall. Also agree book Faramir much better than film Faramir - they made him a right twerp.
Also wouldn’t have turned down Frodo at the time.

I'd rather do Sam Gamgee than Faramir, Boromir, Eomer or Legolas. They do nothing for me.

I was really gutted that they didn't show the Faramir and Eowyn romance properly in the film, as Book Faramir was my teenage fictional character crush. But Film Faramir was a bit weedy and whiny. Aragorn didn't do it for me either, and Legolas was like a howling void with a blond wig on. I was reduced to squinting at Saruman and trying to pretend he was 1960s Christopher Lee 🤣

Strider in the films (agree king elessar is too clean and what's with the random singing?) But faramir in the books because he's lovely and Aragorn is a bit sexist (tells eomer by allowing eowyn to marry faramir he is giving away the fairest "Thing" in his realm 😡)

I fell in love with Faramir when I was 12 yrs old, that was in the book though. Not keen on the film one.
