I’m rewatching Lord of the Rings and can’t decide on who I like best ? I’m thinking Faramir is more moody....... decisions decisions

Eh why is Boromir not included in this? He wins hands down!

Aragorn. Eomer. Boromir. Faramir. Legolas.

And then all 4 hobbits.

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion. To me Sean Bean is always the dirty chap in Lady Chatterley. I can’t fancy him as Boromir, I do appreciate him though !

Faramir every time - as he is in the book though, they get him wrong in the film!

They’re both a bit dirty, but not in a good way, Legolas was my favourite if you ignored how cocky he could be.

Strider for me too please

Strider, Faramir, Boromir, Eomer. Not Legolas.

Aragorn

Strider definitely. Though the film didn't do Faramir's character justice at all, really pissed me off actually as I loved him in the book.

Aragorn when he's Strider, but definitely not when he finally becomes king, washes and gets a silly some-up-some-down hairdo to go with his crown. I prefer him manky with dirt and straight from an Orc fight, or doing his Sexy Door-Opening thing.

Agree though that BookFaramir is much better than FilmFaramir.

Definitely Aragorn (but not with his blow-dry at the end), then Legoland.

Strider, not Aragorn. And as Aragorn seems like a bit of an annoying, sanctimonious prick by the end, I'd go for Faramir. Faramir looks as though he could be taught how to have a jolly good time. Aragorn would mope afterwards.

(Strider however would fully embrace the one night stand, and looks almost as exactly how I imagine a younger Roland of Gilead to look. Though can I chose Roland of Gilead instead please?)

I’m watching the extended version of Return of the King and Faramir has just had such a lovely moment with Eowyn he’s catching up!

Boromir is lovely but I just see him and think of Lady Chattery’s Love and “Get In”’tut”

I'd be there before he finished the 'g' of get.

Strider, 100%.
Just found online “ Five Actors Who Could Have Played Aragorn “ - apparently Nicolas Cage was in the running at one stage Confused. OMG !
Fresh from destroying forever my vision of Captain Corelli .....
