I'm listening to a combine harvester working in the field opposite my house. It's quite a sinister sound even though I know what it is.

What can you hear right now?

Not a lot over the snoring dog!!!!!!!

GreenBeanMcGee · 31/08/2020 21:14

That's adorable. Somehow it's so cute when dogs snore but I feel murderous when people do it.

Husband (who always tells me I go to bed too early) lightly snoring next to me... and the hum of my tinnitus.

Lazysundayafternoons · 31/08/2020 21:18

My ds (6) light snoring.
His dad works away from home Monday to Friday so every Monday night I let ds fall asleep in my bed.

nancybotwinbloom · 31/08/2020 21:18

DramaAlpaca · 31/08/2020 21:21

In my left ear a snoring spaniel, and in my right the washing machine.

Justgivemesomepeace · 31/08/2020 21:21

The golf on TV downstairs and traffic noise. DD moving about in her room and DS crashing about in the bathroom. God knows what hes doing.

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 31/08/2020 21:22

The cat is meowing at the kitchen window. I think the pigeons are teasing him.

LadyH846 · 31/08/2020 21:23

Early morning birdsong

BetterEatCheese · 31/08/2020 21:23

Lottapianos · 31/08/2020 21:24

anon5000 · 31/08/2020 21:25

The TV and the cat licking his arse.

EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide · 31/08/2020 21:25

Mamma fucking Mia unfortunately. Dh is watching it apparently so I'm not allowed to turn it over.

RedRec · 31/08/2020 21:26

A Yakult ad on Sky One. Am watching Forrest Gump.

UsernameTaken76 · 31/08/2020 21:28

The bedroom fan as I’m warm, an episode of Call the Midwife & DDog eating peanut butter. DH is walking round doing bits before bed.

TokyoSushi · 31/08/2020 21:31

TV, Dog jangling his collar, footsteps upstairs, DD chattering to DH, DS talking to his friend online - it's noisy here! Will be silent expect me, dog & TV by 10!

ChrissyHynde · 31/08/2020 21:33

I'm listening to the news, son is sat at the table with his iPad blaring away waiting for a pizza to cook and husband had Wild Horses blaring away in the other room

Babs709 · 31/08/2020 21:33

That's adorable. Somehow it's so cute when dogs snore but I feel murderous when people do it. I used to find it cute, then it got LOUDER. We have a toddler so as soon as he’s in bed the dog collapses into the deepest sleep known to man and spends the entire evening like it.

MitziK · 31/08/2020 21:34

The TV. DP asking if I want some crisps. My sighing at how shit the TV is.

And, loudest of all, the high pitched HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIs of my fucking Tinnitus.
