Bloody hell - that HURT! I'm an idiot.

Just burnt the tip of two fingers (one on each hand), whilst making a once in a blue moon fry up for DH and I. Was trying not to break the yolk and got far too close to the oil, which splashed up.

Jesus wept, it was excruciating. I cried, and I haven't done that from pain since I was a kid. Can't take them out of the ice cold bowl of water I've had them in for the past 45 minutes for more than 30 seconds without the searing pain coming back (writing this using the dictation function!).

Shall I just amputate and get it over with (Melodramatic? Me?).

I'm the idiot that tried to fix a trellis to a wall last year without tying back my very long hair.
Gust of wind blew my hair into the spinning drill, instantly wrapping around it and yanking my head forward into the wall. Had to sheepishly call dh to rescue me as I didn't dare put the drill in reverse. He gave me a deserved bollocking for being stupid.

Ended up with a nice bald patch, lump on my forehead and whiplash from being dragged into it. I know tie my hair back when doing diy.
