Which season do you love?

Just that really. Inspired by all the chatter of the heatwave and those who love and loathe it.

Autumn seems to feed my soul. I love it all. The colours and the smell of a bonfire. The clothes and the nights closing in. I also love the other transitional season of spring because the world feels hopeful to me, and the days feel fresh and the lighter evenings are welcome after the winter.

So tell me, what's your favourite season?

Summer - as I love hot weather, then Spring. I am actually starting to feel quite depressed at the thought of Summer coming to an end pretty soon. At the end of every summer I dream of moving to a country that has better weather and milder winters like in certain parts of aus or Spain but I don't have the motivation , energy or the finances to make such a big move.

All. Whichever one I'm in is always my favourite and I start to miss it prematurely midway through. Then the next one comes and I realise it's the one I really love. I'm the foolish one in a Bernard Shaw play.

Winter. Love the snow and cold. Spending time indoors with my family. No people out and about in the gardens or our street being noisy. Peaceful.

Autumn for me. September- December are my favourite months.
I despise January and February.

Winter, Autumn then Spring. Summer is horrible. Nothing nice about it at all.

TSSDNCOP · 14/08/2020 09:11

@Leflic I agree! It also feels so light. Yesterday I went out in bra, pants a little dress and sandals. So free and easy. I would be happy to live in a place where one only needed to wear 4 items max Grin

spring, then summer, then autumn.
Hate winter. Hate pretty much everything about it.
It was a bit too hot for me in the heatwave, but im actually kind of sad its over

Spring. It's full of hope and anticipation of a long hot summer (which are becoming more common here). It's usually warm and sunny. There's a lovely smell in the air and you get spring lambs and some mornings there is still a little frost underfoot but the sun is shining just right. I love it.

I also like autumn. But it leads to winter and other than Christmas, i don't like winter.

Snow? I’d love winter in the U.K if we had guaranteed snow. It really doesn’t snow that often in the South of England.
