When did you last really laugh out loud, and why?

On holiday this past week, amazingly with my MIL. She and I have always been fairly tense around each other (for 20 years!!) so I wasn't looking forward to a week on holiday together. Turns out she's great fun and has fantastic sense of adventure. We were belly laughing together a lot. It was also additional fun to gang up on DH. He thought it would be a great idea having his mother and wife in the same place. She took my side for everything 🤣

Ooooooh. That's hard. I love reading.
Recently I really enjoyed The Woman in the White Kimono. I really enjoy Anna McNuff's books about her adventures (running across New Zealand, cycling across the USA etc). One of my favourite books of all time is Wizard and Glass by Stephen King. It's the fourth in the Dark Tower series and reading it is like being reunited with old friends (I've read the series multiple times).
