Have you ever walked out of an interview? If so, why?

SweatyBetty20 · 13/08/2020 13:08

Weirdly Daniel Michael is my brother!

Yes, walked out of an interview - fucked up the aptitude test, noisy office I couldn’t see myself working in, menopausal anxiety and the interviewer was chewing gum.

If you had a few pounds to spend on pic and mix what would you get?

bearlyactive · 13/08/2020 15:38

What is the biggest misconception about you?

Lelophants · 13/08/2020 16:04

That I'm a wimp and can't deal with thingd like rollercoasters and hot food.

On that note - nandos sauce. Lemon&herb, medium, hot or extra hot? (Or anything else for that matter).

TJ17 · 13/08/2020 16:11

A bit of all of them! I love the flavours of all Nando's sauces. I usually go for the more flavoursome Lemon and herb on the chicken and then the medium or hot on the plate to dip chips/chicken in. Oh god now I'm reaaally craving a Nando's 😭

Tips on not feeling jealous or inadequate?

kemosabeimalone · 14/08/2020 05:50

If the jealousy is for other people’s lives focus externally not internally - helping others / volunteering will raise your self esteem, you’ll value yourself more and you’ll see that everyone has their troubles. instagrim/ Facefriend/ Twatter can make it seem like everyone has perfect lives but they don’t really. I had the revelation in my 30’s that very few people get to mid adulthood without having some trauma /cross to carry, If you are feeling sexual jealousy due to a partner’s actions - this is a different kettle of fish and you either need better boundaries / talk about it or to move on.

Best film? Why?

Peridodo · 14/08/2020 09:07

Shawshank Redemption. Fantastic acting and storyline and I like that fact it all comes right in the end. Also it has aged really well IMO.

Do you think the older you get the wiser you get?

Babs709 · 14/08/2020 09:08

Wayne’s World. I couldn’t tell you why because I usually hate films which involve men just pissing about for two hours.
