So, what's your Question?

OP posts:
AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 10:21

Introvert

Are you surprised?

everywhichway · 08/08/2020 10:33

No. I'm one too.

Ever skinny dipped - and if so, where?

OP posts:
AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 12:01

No .

Your weekend plans are ..?

Puffalicious · 08/08/2020 12:48

Best friend's 20th wedding anniversary party- huge gazebo (socially distant so will.be a bit strange but we're going for it) tonight. Without DC and a long lie together in the morning- my God that never happens.

Pottering Sunday as I'm back to work tomorrow ( Scottish teacher 😩) so will be squeezing every last inch out of this weekend before the school run/ juggling childcare recommences!

Tip for staying cool in this humid nightmare?

(PS I'm an extrovert. A MN anomaly?)

AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 13:09

Damp towel

Preferred weather?

JPduck · 08/08/2020 13:22

Hot but only if I've a swimming pool and ac at home 😉 (like when I lived in the Middle East)

Fave breed of dog?

Lelophants · 08/08/2020 13:37

Early, mid or late summer?

AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 14:03

What's Summer?

None of those . Summer where I am is usually a washout .

Swimsuit, bikini , or wetsuit?

Camomila · 08/08/2020 14:22

bikini...feels warmer, and its quicker to dry skin than wet fabric ime.

Do you work better in the evening or morning? Any tips on working better in the evening (I'm a morning person but I only have time to work after DC are asleep)

everywhichway · 08/08/2020 14:55

I work much better before lunch than after - so sorry, I can't help you! Hope someone else can though..

What habit or habits do you really wish you could break?

OP posts:
bearlyactive · 08/08/2020 14:58

Sugar

Most intimidating/scary person you've ever encountered in your line of work?

Clawdy · 08/08/2020 15:39

A deeply unpleasant primary school headteacher.
The sweetest person you've ever met?

Lelophants · 08/08/2020 16:37

Where are you @AnneKipanki? I prefer late summer (i.e. August). By then I'm finally used to it and there is the hope of autumn coming!)

In answer to @Clawdy cheesy but dh. I was surprised by how genuinely kind he was.

Would you rather be a butcher, baker or candlestick maker?

JPduck · 08/08/2020 16:42

Baker

Did you become what you thought you'd be as a child?

AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 16:55

Yes .
Scotland.

Are you very skilled at anything? If so , what , if not , what would you like to be skilled at?

Puffalicious · 08/08/2020 18:45

I'm in Scotland and it's been glorious today- properly too hot!

Skilled at art (drawing and painting) and that extends to home decorating.

Wish I could wake up and play the fiddle and speak a language fluently.

Where and what type of home would you ideally love to live in?

itsaratrap · 08/08/2020 19:04

Completely glass fronted house on the edge, no one in front of us, looking at St. Ives and Godrevy or St. Michael’s Mount. I’m not fussy 😁

At what age were your grown up children truly independent?

everywhichway · 08/08/2020 19:04

Dorset. Detached, characterful place with beams, wood burning stove and large south-facing garden, within a 10-15 minute drive of the coast.

Nice things that have happened to you today?

OP posts:
Lelophants · 08/08/2020 19:36

Xpost!
I don't have any grown up children.
Gone for a picnic and it was perfect weather.

AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 22:11

Too much !

Are you psychic?

MumGoneCrazy · 08/08/2020 22:15

Would you rather go for a jog/run or for a bike ride?

AnneKipanki · 08/08/2020 22:30
