Fresh bedding (lighthearted)

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who hates fresh bedding? Me and DH were having a debate about it. He loves the smell and feel of fresh bedding and I just down right hate it. Its stiff and the smell is too strong even without softener. I just can't sleep for the first night it's on. To add I change it regular, I hate it but cant stand the thought of dirty beds either.

You are so wrong about this. I can not imagine anyone will agree with you - I thought loving clean bedding was universal!

Oooh no you’re incorrect on this one! Fresh sheets night is the best night of the week, I make sure I wash my hair that night!

I must be an oddity. My DH thinks I am weird. Maybe he's right (for once 🙈)

Ok absolutely love it. Especially right now because I'm pregnant and seem to be very sensitive to musty smells so can't stand the bedding after one night, and my living room carpet (which was new 2 years ago and I've just had cleaned is killing me. I'm having to consider replacing it already)

I don't think anyone will agree with this! I absolutely love fresh bedding, I'm washing mine tomorrow and I'm excited already 😍

I have very 'sharp sheets' they crinkle when I put them on & they're cool & fabulous. No softener, just an Ariel Pod & they're amazing.

Fresh sheets at least twice a week, more often in this heat.

Fresh sheets are amazing. You say yours are rough, maybe you can get a scent-free softener?

My DH agrees with you; despite ours being tumble dried so lovely and soft. He likes it about the night before I change it where his pillow smells like a foot and he can wallow in his own foistiness. I love the first night of clean sheets. If I can be arsed (rarely) I'll also time my shaving of legs with clean sheets - marvellous

Hehe @IncrediblySadToo he said thank you. He was tittering because everything else has to be spotless. He cant understand why I can steam clean the laminate twice a week but hate fresh bed sheets. I said but I don't sleep on the laminate 🙃

Love a clean bed, but I like brushed cotton bedding so mine is never stiff.

Nope, clean sheets are the best.

But then I also love a clean towel, no softener and line-dried so it's a bit rough feeling. Hate soft towels, they never feel like they dry me as well

Your washing powder or softener needs changing or Use the wash balls instead

My husband and I love fresh sheets so much we change the bed at least twice a week. You're mad.

I changed my sheets today and cannot wait to get into bed tonight. I love fresh bedding.
