Fresh bedding (lighthearted)

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who hates fresh bedding? Me and DH were having a debate about it. He loves the smell and feel of fresh bedding and I just down right hate it. Its stiff and the smell is too strong even without softener. I just can't sleep for the first night it's on. To add I change it regular, I hate it but cant stand the thought of dirty beds either.

Sheets fresh off the line are the best things ever

I treated myself to a full set, including duvet cover, of the JL 400 thread cotton satin-feel bed linen in the recent sale. Heaven, especially on these warmer nights.
But I only got 1 set so I'm having to strip, wash and put back on all in one day at the moment.

Absolutely love clean sheets. We got brand new expensive stuff that I loving put on the bed. As I was getting changed into my pyjamas to climb in DH got it first...then farted! I nearly left him!

I like the idea of fresh sheets, but if they smell of washing powder/softener I struggle to sleep.
