What, if anything, do you collect?

As per the title really just for interest. For example one lady was talking on another thread about new mugs for her collection.

There's things I'd like to collect, but my one bed flat lacks both space and storage...

Holztiger wooden figures (new to this!)

Books, cloisonné, hatpins, tarot cards, dolls houses, masks... trying desperately not to collect anything else.

Some really interesting collections here!

And some rather funny responses...

Clearly the fridge magnet market is the one to be in! Curse my built in one... means I've got no surface to attach them to.

But they are a cheap and always obtainable holiday memento indeed.

I feel like I missed something blindingly obvious.

Lego. We've just run out of shelf space again... My favourites are the Architecture sets.

SummerPoppies · 25/07/2020 14:23

Glasses. I can't resist them.
If I'm in a bar and I'm served a drink in a nice glass, It just seems to want to come home with me in my handbag.
I've got boxes of the things!!
If McDonald's have a promotion on with glasses, I'm there. I have boxes of those too, still in their packaging.
I need help. 😂

Would love a real one. Grin
Unfortunately husband is being unreasonable, and won't clear out his shed..Hmm

So will have to make do with inanimate ones instead..

Nail polish. I have an embarrassing amount of them (hundreds). I used to love getting a polish change but I was often disappointed with the result, I can do so much better myself so I started buying them. I have a mini salon in my house complete with full manicure tools Grin

RustyBear · 27/08/2020 20:31

Blue glass and owls

And charity bags. When they come through the letterbox I dump them in the basket where I keep my shopping bags - I had about 30 at the last count.

One particular china pattern. I’m aiming for a full 12 piece dinner, tea and coffee set for my imaginary dinner parties. Judging by the amount I’ve bought my kids, I’m also an enthusiastic toot toot collector too!

Antique maps. I frame them and display them on the walls as they are decorative as well as interesting.
