Was at Marks and Spencer the other day waiting to pay. The man paying in front of me had a full visor on (which tbf to him look more comfy than masks) and gloves.
He was packing his shopping and then when he was asked for his sparks card he said it was on his phone.
Cue lots of messing with his phone as the touch screen isn't compatible with glove wearing, at some point he asked the cashier to do it for him and tried to hand her his phone.
She said she couldn't do it.
Cue more messing before he gives up and puts it away. Then he put his card in the pin machine to pay and lifted his visor so he could see it better. Didn't put it back down until he was almost out the door.
This is what I dont understand. People who are adamant to wear this stuff, but render it useless by not using it properly.
Aside from the people with real clinical need to wear them (they tend to be the ones wearing them correctly) There seem to be a lot of people who wear this stuff to make themselves feel safer (didn't bojo say at one of the sadly daily death shows that the biggest benefit to wearing masks was making people feel safer to go out), why can they not just admit that? Why can they not just own their fear, rather than impose it all on everyone so they don't stand out as much.
Bojo thinks masks will get people spending in shops? Will it bollocks. Those who don't want to wear them won't go and those who do will be mostly just sat at home on hold to the police reporting their neighbour for not wearing one.
