Anyone else binge watching crap tv?

OP posts:

Out of those two, Big. Aiden was too needy and annoying.

However the only decent guy in SATC was Steve.

AuntyPasta · 11/07/2020 00:37

Harry was ok.

WinterAndRoughWeather · 11/07/2020 00:38

Smith was a good guy.

hellswelshy · 11/07/2020 00:39

My head says Aiden. But my heart says Big! Just watched the last episode this evening funnily enough.. Love the last few scenes of them running up the stairs in the hotel in Paris and Carrie tripping Big up and them laughing Grin

SionnachGlic · 11/07/2020 00:51

Neither...both awful

BarbedBloom · 11/07/2020 00:52

They're all awful, especially Carrie. I would rather have Samantha.

Whatdoyouthinkaboutthisone · 11/07/2020 00:52

Mr Big -
He has major commitment issues but like other poster's have said he was quite honest about not wanting to settle down. Plus he is very attractive IMO, maybe it's the bad boy vibe!

I found Aiden irritating TBH, he was a nice guy but just not right for Carrie and she wasn't right for him either, he deserved better.

Carrie was very me, me, me but she was a good lead and I always wanted to know what she would do next. My favourite was Charlotte and my favourite man in the series was Harry!

I've really put too much thought into all this! HmmBlush

wildcherries · 11/07/2020 00:56

Neither. But Big and Carrie deserved each other. She was unbearable.

BananaPop2020 · 11/07/2020 01:12

I watched the whole thing again in April and loved every glorious minute. Aiden was pretty sexy, but Mr Big was the right match for Carrie.

IHaveBrilloHair · 11/07/2020 03:03

The sexiest was definitely Smith, closely followed by Dr Robert.
I have a bit of a thing for Marcus too, I love gay guys!Grin

SavannahCat · 11/07/2020 03:13

Big. All day every day

Ritascornershop · 11/07/2020 03:39

Carrie is a nightmare. I couldn’t bear how she behaved around men: like a needy, whiny, coy little girl.

Aiden was very handsome, but he didn’t strike me as having a sense of humour about himself.

Big is sexy as hell, but I think he enjoyed being chased and to heck with that.

Steve is the perfect guy. Funny, down to earth, poetic. I vote Steve.

Harry has no hair and that’s not for me.

HappyDinosaur · 11/07/2020 06:38

I liked Harry best, I find kindness very attractive.

AzraiL · 11/07/2020 06:54

Harry. Steve, Aiden and Steve were cheaters.

Whatdoyouthinkaboutthisone · 11/07/2020 06:57

@HappyDinosaur - Yes I agree entirely.

@AzraiL - Harry wasn’t a cheater was he?? Nooooooo! I must have missed that episode!

NewKittyMeow · 11/07/2020 06:59

Yes, going to go with Harry.

iano · 11/07/2020 07:15

I recently rewatched some of this. I found it really uncomfortable viewing. Carrie is the worst! Selfish, petty and such a drama queen.

I'm going to go for Harry as Steve cheated. That storyline never rang true for me but there we go. Didn't they somehow blame it on Miranda for nagging him?

I think there are some questionable story lines in the show. And there are no ethnic minorities in it. It doesn't age very well...

WanderingTrolley1 · 11/07/2020 07:17

Big (please)!

StopMakingATitOfUrselfNPissOff · 11/07/2020 07:18

I'm rewatching it at the moment.

I'd say neither. At least Big was upfront about being an arsehole, Aiden was more subtle but he was an arsehole. So many mind games!

It's only having watched it again that I realised Aiden wasn't a nice guy!

Mr Big, always.

I always thought Aiden tried to change Carrie, wanted it all his way, can't imagine he'd of been happy with no kids, living in an apartment in the city.

RedRec · 11/07/2020 07:27

Where can I find it?

StopMakingATitOfUrselfNPissOff · 11/07/2020 07:28

@RedRec it's on now tv at the moment

AndAllOurYesterdays · 11/07/2020 07:29

Miranda was (implicitly) blamed for the cheating. She had been too busy and tired for sex so it was not unreasonable for him to look elsewhere. I remember a horrible scene where she gets shamed for not having shaved her pubic hair.

Skyliner001 · 11/07/2020 07:30

Either or neither but never burger.
