If you had your first baby at 35/36 did you/ when did you have another?

First at 37 and second at 39. I wanted to get it over before 40.
In hindsight the two year age gap was perfect.

First at 36, second at 40. Four year age gap is a nightmare!

Age gap wasn't planned btw.

I was 36 when I had my first and 37 my second (13 month gap).

38 (nearly 39) with #1 and 41 with #2.

1st 35 2nd 39

37 with 1 (and only). And the rest of you who have answered on here are probably the right age to now be humming Rick Astley ;-)

1st at 35. 2nd at 37. 3rd at 40.

1st at 35 and second at 38. It's worked out well 😊

36 for first, 37 second - 16 month between them. Not planned but best decision, no way would I be able to deal with a newborn now!

First at 36, second almost exactly 12 months later at 37

Started trying to get pregnant at age 32, hoping to have 2 DC by age 35. In fact - after a lot of heartbreak and medical help - had DC1 at 36 and DC2 a few months before my 40th birthday.

First at 36, second at 38, 21 month age gap. Still considering a 3rd, I turn 40 next year.

35 1/2.......2nd one just before 39

I wanted to have another, but couldn't. Tried fertility treatment, which failed, then I started premature perimenopause when I was 40 so that was that.

So if you want one, don't hang about.

Also had first at 35 and second at 38. Im 40 now and quite tired, but my boys are lovely!

Just had my first (36) and now know that I’d love to have a second. Any tips? Had a good pregnancy and birth but feeling super achey in my knees. Not sure if this is a) normal b) because I am older c) lockdown + baby = not very mobile d) unfit to begin with e) something else.

36 and had my second 20 months later. It was hard work, the first was a very easy baby/child, the second most definitely not. No regrets regarding the second though, despite the hard work.

37 and then a few weeks after turning 40.

It's not what we planned. Ideally we wanted our first at age 34. It took a long time for me to fall pregnant.
