37 and 39, just under a two year gap which has been great so far (they're 14 and 16 now). It meant I had a second maternity leave when the oldest was 2-3 years old so lots of extra time with him but he was at preschool too so I had time on my own with the baby too. Also virtually everyone I met when on maternity leave with the first had another two years later so we were on leave together again and all went through school in the same two year groups, which has been nice.

Had my first at 36. I've just turned 40 and been trying for a second for 18 months

@MaidofKent78

37 with 1 (and only). And the rest of you who have answered on here are probably the right age to now be humming Rick Astley ;-)
Surely you mean humming along to Chesney Hawkes? Wink

35 for no1 and 37 for no2, just under 2 year age gap.

DappledThings · 10/07/2020 23:30

36 and 38.

PermanentTemporary · 10/07/2020 23:34

First and only at 34. Briefly tried again at about 36 (like, one night Grin) but eventually decided dh's health was just too fragile. He's dead now. Don't know if it was the right decision because ds would always have benefited hugely from having a sibling, but life was so hard when ds was small that I still think it was just about the right decision as a whole family.

bumblenbean · 10/07/2020 23:35

35 and 36. 11.5 month gap

hopefulhop · 10/07/2020 23:45

1st 32, 2nd 35, 3rd 37, 4th 39- that was 4mths ago. I've turned 40 since and I very much felt the difference in late pregnancy and recovery this time around.
I would say don't hang about.
