A few weeks have passed since the last enjoyable thread. What's going down on yours?

The local food bank’s hours/opportunities for donations/general appreciation. Ditto local volunteers, Covid support group, elderly support, baby bank charity etc.

The death of someone who used to live vaguely in the area decades ago.

Someone found a scarf on the pavement, is it yours?

Tedious memes about rainbows, meeting again, appreciating the little things etc and reminders to “be careful” and “stay safe”.

Bloody tourists, coming round ere, using our Lidl, not socially distancing. Usually followed by me pointing out all the twats failing to SD in our town for the last few months have been locals, and a few tourists aren't going to make any difference.

To the bald headed man blatantly having a mid-life crisis in his open top Merc, please use the indicators and watch your speed in the estate. Followed by accusations of picking on the owner, ageism because of the reference to mid-life crisis, reminders that the estate is a 20mph because of the school, moans about people moaning....

Whose is this starving cat? Not mine, but I feed him every day the poor soul, yes so do we as do several other houses (six dinner Sid is the picture of health). Maybe we should get the Cats Protection lady out to check for a chip etc

we hate motorcycles (whose owners spend a fortune in the town) therfore we shall ban them! Because there is nothing like banning loyal customers to avoid recession

Then someone will "joke" is the bridge open yet? (Pre covid we had floods and the bridge closed every day several times a day some one would ask if the bridge was open they needed to go the quick way to tescos)
